This is a lightweight no compression Spanx. I wore it under an evening dress to prevent any thigh chafing. If you are looking for compression, this is not for you. I am at an age that I do not want to squeeze into a tight shaper, so this was perfect...no ride up...stayed in place all evening. Another winner from Spanx!
