2.5 to 3.5 inch adapter, good alignment
Product is as described and arrived on time. Sata plug alignment was perfect. Fits in the hdd cage well. Provided screws are a bit bulky for the cage, so I used the old hdd screws. Can be improved in that regard.

SATA cable lock missing
The SATA data cable doesn't lock in place. It's just held there by friction. Still works, though.

Perfect solution for conversion of 2.5 hdd / SSD to 3.5 " hdd.
Works perfectly good with hotswap bays. Best suited for system where 3.5 inch hdd are mostly used such as NAS / WORKSTATION / SERVER.

Value for money SSD mounting bracket
Used this item to upgrade an old HP AIO with a hard disk to SSD. The SSD fitted perfectly in the slot provided and locked down in place with the 4 screws provided in the box. After that it the mounting bracket mated perfectly with the fixed location SATA plug inside the AIO

Its a bakelite made, not a metallic heat sink type
I think this will be a metallic heat sink like product, made of aluminium etc. but feel sad to see that its made of bakelite plastics, but looks like metalic in the product picture, not too much satisfied at this price. However fitting is nice, you will also get small screws to tighten the SSD with this bracket as well as with computer hinges.

Makes a 2'5" SSD physically the same as a 3.5" HDD
Ideal for replacing the old 3.5"HDD in a computer with a new 2.5" HDD where the hard drive needs to be exactly the same size as a 3'5" drive. This may be the case where the drive plugs directly into computers mainboard without a cable, such as laptop or "all in one" PC such as the older HP Smart Touch. Good quality unit with all necessary screws.
