ThinOptics Reading Glasses

These glasses are extremely convenient and have a magnetic case that will stay on the back of your phone. Super helpful. The only slightly disappointing thing is that my case hinge pin came out so now there's only one pin on one side holding the case together. Either way I would buy these again no problem.

Easy to use

The pair I received was very obviously used as they were quite bent out of shape. The case had already been used as there was a lot of the adherence left behind from previously being stuck to a phone case, etc. I paid a decent sale price for them, so I suppose that's the luck of the draw, but I don't dislike these. I don't love these, either. I wanted to love them. I really looked forward to trying them. I was stoked to have some super sturdy readers that were as thin as paper. I'm just slightly underwhelmed by them. They do work, not hard to use, and I can read, that's not the issue. I think they just don't feel like they should be a $30 pair of readers. Conceptually, this is awesome. Super flat, super thin, super indestructible. Perhaps I purchased a pair that are not as high of quality as some other types they sell. Perhaps I got some that are so used, they just don't have that "feel" to them. I can see these getting scratches quite easily, I will make every attempt to baby them and see how long they last....

I'm at the point now where I need to whip out reading glasses to focus in on dimly lighted restaurant menus - thats pretty much it however I was getting so annoyed that I had to bring a pair of bulky reading glasses just to get through that moment. That is until I found ThinOptics. I now own two thin pairs of glasses and absolutely love how they're so small profile yet provide excellent vision correction. I also love that I can purchase them from Amazon and take advantage of my Prime Membership with two day shipping. Thanks

First problem was that I ordered a rectangular black regular case version, and instead received clear, not black, framed glasses. Strike one. Next, as reading glasses go these are very expensive, but unbelievably flimsy/cheap feeling. Strike two. Final problem, they are extremely uncomfortable, largely because they have no curvature to match the curvature of your face. Strike three. Avoid. There are far better choices.

I love these things. I attached the case to my phone and now I always have my eyes. My only complaint would be is that the case itself didn’t last as long as I would have liked. About 9 months and the spring broke that keeps it closed. Got another case on the way so we will see how it holds up.

I purchased the same item but it was the clear rim ones and as my review before, I love them because they are light, thin ane compact. Easy to bring anywhere.

The frames and overall things are just too small and too unreliable to be wore on the head.
