Sony 60 Minute Blank Microcassette Tapes MC-60, Set of 3

These Sony microcassett tapes are very reliable and I've been using them for more than 20 years to record interview. I can count on one hand the number of tape that have bound up and I'm guessing that was because of dirty heads, not bad tape. Fortunately, however, I recently bought a digital recorder and now these tapes are no longer a part of my life. They are like little dinosaurs that I keep excavating in various little drawers and bins in my office. Long live the micro cassette, but thankfully, they are all history for me!

I've been buying these micro cassettes for many years and so far have not gotten one that was problematic. These are among the best on the market today. I can expect them to hold up to use for quite a while. Of course, I find myself more often than not using a digital recorder which requires no tapes at all. But for minutes, documentation of conferences, etc. these are still valuable resources.

Seems like a decent value. These tapes are increasingly difficult to find.

tapes work as expected

My son found a micro cassette recorder from the 90’s. He needed tapes so I ordered the Sony micro cassette tapes. The delivery was fast and the tapes were perfect! I will purchase these Sony micro cassette tapes again as needed.

Two of the cassettes in the pack worked fine. In the third, for some reason, my recorder couldn't spin the take-up spindle to pick up the tape it was pulling out, so it ate that tape and ruined it. This recorder is kind of old / crappy so it's entirely possible that the problem is just with me, but if that's true I don't get why only one of the three cassettes didn't work.

I am taking an online course and I dictate my notes on these to listen to while I exercise on my bike. I can understand every word, so I am going to say these are just fine for recording voices.

In the era of everything electronic it's nice to be able to find good old Sony tapes! I'm a medical transcriptionist and still have a few doctors who use them. They had a problem finding these tapes, so I located them here and they are long-lasting, well wearing and clear tapes that the docs are happy with. If they're happy, I'm happy! Would definitely recommend to anyone who uses tapes.
