My wife got me a similar "annoying box" gift over the holidays, so I saw this and wanted to check it out for some upcoming gift-giving purposes! Initially opening it up reveals an unassuming "gift" that hides the journey to come... For starters, the print quality of this is pretty good all around. There are some moments of friction during the opening and reassembly that take a little bit of elbow grease, but nothing of consequence. I also appreciated that they provide three "keys" to open/close the packages (and one of them even tucks directly inside the lid of the box! Do be aware that once you clear all ten (!!) layers of this package, the center-most layer is quite small - you could probably roll up some folded cash, or maybe a printed gift card... But don't expect to fit too much inside (see photos). Otherwise, this is an absolute blast! Just be sure to re-assemble carefully, as I had gotten to the end of putting it together before realizing all of the pieces were installed upside-down...! (but that's user error, so I'm sure you'll get the hang of it faster than I did). Highly recommend!

First, the product photos are a bit misleading. The box is roughly half the size it appears in the listing images, measuring in at 2.25". It’s still a good size for cash or small trinkets, but definitely check dimensions carefully so you’re not surprised. That said, it’s a well-constructed 3D-printed gift box. The design is clever: you unscrew the bow on top to reveal a hidden key, then use that key to remove the 15 screws holding the side panels in place. It’s more of a “make them work for it” box than a true puzzle box, since the key isn’t specialized and you could technically use a screwdriver or even a butter knife to open it. The print quality is solid, the colors are vibrant, and everything fits together nicely. It’s a fun way to add some humor and mild frustration to gift-giving without being overly complicated. For the price, it’s a good novelty item.

Would be a great gift for a less intuitive, younger crowd!
