Perfect for vintage radios!
I was restoring an old radio, and the speaker mesh was destroyed. I ordered this with low expectations, but was blown away by how fantastic it looks! This is perfect for a vintage radios. I’ll probably use some when I redo my guitar app.

Great replacement
My antique Zenith cabinet radio/78 player had a dry rotted grill (and the cat decided to punch through it). Found this quick and easy and it looks fabulous. It seems like a plastic coated fabric more so than soft pliable cloth like material so it works best with a flat install. Probably won't work as well wrapping around corners as it isn't as flexible as cloth. But looks great and will last forever now I'm sure, even if the face of kitty.

Just what I wanted. Quality product; easy to work with. I am most pleased. All tones travel through this cloth with no restrictions or mutings.

Authentic looks and easy to work with
Used this for a small amp project and it came out great. I used a heat gun to stretch the cloth after stapling it in place. I recommend watching a few youtube videos on how to do this before attempting your first grill replacement, but things that helped me were a good powered stapler, a soldering pen with a blade tip for cutting and sealing the portion to be stapled at the back (prevents fraying), and the heat gun.

Speaker Grill Cloth Fabric Beige/Brown Yard 36" Wide
This is a very good product to restore an old system or in a retro project. I am building book shelf speakers and found that a thinner black material was better suited for the project at hand. This grill material seems to be more ridged, and designed to be used on flat surfaces where rear mounting into the wood work is the application. This is a very good product, however it is not suited to stretch around a fully exposed frame.

Not cloth, it is a sheet of plastic!
This is a sheet of plastic, NOT cloth material as stated in the description.

New speaker covers brighten up the room.
Just recovered my 1978 cerwin Vega u15 speaker covers. This poly fabric gives a new look to them. I've replaced the speakers inside the cabinets several times over the years but this is the first time trying my hand on the covers. Fairly easy to mount the fabric on the frames except for the corners which were a little more difficult. Using a staple gun is the best option. Just stretch the fabric a little then staple. Tap the staples down tight with a small hammer. I'm very pleased with the results.
