ESAB 0558101694 MiniArc 161LTS Stick Package

I purchased this machine to tinker around on at home and have ended up taking it out on the job site with me numerous times and it has held up awesome and does a great job. Compact and easy to move around, I would buy it again before spending big money on the more popular brands.

Yes. Awesome. Lightweight small machine. Runs 6010 like a dream, no arc stopping or sputtering like I've had with other machines that cost MORE than this little firecracker. Comes with dryer plug pigtail or standard 220 OR just roll with 110.Couldn't get it to reach duty cycle.Welded out two 6" sch40 pipes one after the other they were both already all tac'd up. So almost non stop welding them root 2fill and 2 cap pass on both. Never stopped going.

Great for 7018 stable arc ,portable handy to pack around

The only reason I bought this machine is because I needed a machine that can run 6010, and boy let me tell you on 110v with 3/32 6010 it'll run it smooth like butter, no sputter no trouble arcing it and maintains a smooth arc. My other machine which Is also 110v/220v had a very hard time maintaining an arc, I would have it at 3/32 from the base plate and loses arc. Trust me this ESAB MiniArc is the real deal and it got delivered alot quicker than expected.The only complaint I have is that my miniarc machine is that it makes weird rumbling noise just randomly when I'm welding or having it on idle and when I tilted it back to see why it made that noise I can see smokes coming out from the vents but I continued welding and nothing happened so I dont know why the machine makes weird noises and smokes.

I purchased this to replace my good ol Miller 140I am a very experienced welder/fitter 30+ years shipyard/marine.This little box is incredible. No fancy digital display, but does its job well. Even on 110v it fires off with room to spare. The arc strikes almost too easily with extremely fast establishment of puddle. Will weld through all the bad stuff just fine and very forgiving.If You are looking for a good little box for general use that will do the job even under adverse conditions such as rust, old paint, slag, dirt.This is it.This is a industrial quality welder that can compete easily with Miller and Lincolns at a price you can personally afford.the warranty is great 3 years with a 100 day 100% satisfaction and SA cert US and CAN for OSHA approval. (If you plan to use a welding machine for any commercial purpose UL or equiv. is very important.)
