Great intro
Couldn't put it down. Really good. The main prelude story fits in nicely between new 52 and rebirth but you don't need to have read either to enjoy the metal series. The other comics included are good reads as well but not 100% necessary to enjoy the actual metal story.

These comics are not my cup of tea, this was bought for my grandson for his birthday, and he loves them. As he is the expert on them he has sent a five star review.. looks like I have more in the series to buy in the future.

A good start to the story
Ok so was abit confused as to where to start reading this series, this is the first book, and is a great start but ..... in my opinion you really only get 2 parts of the story. Then the rest is kinda ..... you read and your like “ok what’s this gotta to do with the other 2 parts”. It’s also like they put it in there to make the whole book bigger and look full. I get it, but kinda wanted more.

Comic and envelope damaged if a serious collector do not buy this way not slating the supplier it's obviously the drivers looks like it was under heavy objects

Éste cómic está genial, yo no soy fan de comprar cómics pero este sí lo quise adquirir por los dibujos tan excepcionales, la verdad que de los mejores trazos y una historia que te envuelve y te atrapa, lo recomiendo para coleccionistas y para contemplar el trabajo y los hermosos trazos. Lo consegui a 370 MXpesos ya no me espere a que bajara y lo compre. El único detalle fue que llegó con una raya en la portada, es casi imperceptible pero si eres muy minucioso se puede apreciar.

My copy came with a nice big dent in the corner, but it’s a graphic novel so I didn’t buy it as a collectible. This is a great book, I’m excited to start Metal now, and then get to The Batman Who Laughs.
