TECKNET Rechargeable Mouse with Jiggler, 2.4G Connection with USB-C Adapter

I wanted a simple mouse... what I thought were easy requirements: Bluetooth (I did not want a dongle), side buttons (I use a third party driver where I can program them how I want in each app), fairly ergonomically. Decent weight, a good "click" feel, and a quality feel to the plastic were definite plusses. I tried multiple other much more expensive mice. They had BT but it did not work well. The buttons felt cheap. Its "added" features made my third party driver not work well. This mouse... bought almost in desperation. Did not expect much but figured it was cheaper and I could return it if needed. No need. It is almost perfect. The BT works great and as it should, the side buttons are well placed, it was easy to set up with my third party software, the clicks are almost perfect (I might like a bit quieter, but I am noise sensitive... they are not uncommonly loud). The scroll wheel has a good feel and is smooth. I might want a slightly larger mouse, but I use this for travel so the smaller size has a benefit there, too... and it is not really small, I am just used to a larger than common size. The settings are well placed (on the bottom) and there is a switch instead of a button to cycle through modes (this is so much better). The dongle is held securely in the battery compartment. I do wonder if the battery compartment door will hold up... but how often do you need to open that and it is not really bad, just not as sturdy as some (but better than many others). All in all -- a really good value for the money.

Functions perfectly with Basic mouse functions (Left, Right, Scroll, Page fwd, Page back) Extra device functions (battery minder, resolution stepping). Just received it, so no idea about battery life yet. Bluetooth is flawless. Minus: no feedback on where the resolution is at any time. No Additional drivers to load also means no programmable buttons. My old USB wireless mouse had a center button that I had programmed to mute my PC speaker. I miss that. However, on the plus side, all Windows 10 mouse controls, including disable touchpad when an external pointing device is detected, works great! Totally satisfied for the money. Best substitute for a Logitech device for a whole lot less money! And no dongle required! EDIT: I missed the functionality of the Logitech mouse that I replaced this with. So I downloaded a free Application named X-Mouse Button that allows you to redefine the mouse buttons. I reprogrammed the 'wheel button" to be 'Mute', because that was how my Logitech mouse had been set. I also DISABLED the default button for "Back" and reprogrammed the Forward button to be "Back" instead. That's because the one flaw I found with this mouse is the inadvertent pressing of the Back Button while using it. NOW it functions exactly as I need it to.

Works like a charm

It works ok, the movement is great with all the DPI settings, colors are cool, size is perfect and compatible with most hands. It clicks a little louder than my last mouse, but not to bad, the wheel works a little sluggish, not happy with that

Nice mouse. Comfortable and quiet clicks. Jiggler keeps my screen awake and active even when I'm away from the computer.

EDIT: recently the mouse stops working periodically, and I have to re-pair it to get it to work again. It could be a bluetooth issue with my laptop though. First off, I love the mouse. It's portable but still big enough and supportive (ergonomic) enough to use for long sessions at my laptop. I've had it for a couple of months and haven't needed to replace the battery yet. The biggest detractor for me is that the mouse has to be re-paired via Bluetooth in order for it to work on different computers. I travel sometimes with a bigger laptop and sometimes with an ultrabook, but when I switch laptops, I have to re-pair the mouse. Maybe I'm not doing something correctly, but as a comparison, my Bluetooth headphones just "work" with whatever laptop I'm using, and I typically don't have to re-pair them. The good news is that pairing is easy and the price is good, so it's difficult to complain. This is the only thing keeping this mouse from 5-stars in my mind.

I was looking for a Bluetooth mouse that could free up a USB port on my computer. This one fits the bill. The mouse paired up very easily on my Windows 11 computer. I really like the ergonomics of the mouse. I was looking for a mouse the same size and shape as my Logitech M525 USB mouse and this one is it. It fits my medium sized hand perfectly - not too big, not too small, just right. I also like that it has both USB and Bluetooth modes. I plan to use it on both my home and work computers. Using the USB receiver on my work computer, I don't have to repeatedly unpair the Bluetooth connection on my home computer and then pair it again on the work computer. I sometimes have had other devices with flakey Bluetooth connections. So far, this mouse has had no problems with Bluetooth. However, it's good to have a backup USB connection, just in case. I tested switching from Bluetooth mode to USB mode and back with the manual switch on the back of the mouse. It switched seamlessly in both directions. The mouse also does not require software or drivers for either Bluetooth or USB modes, which is good for my locked-down work computer. The scroll wheel has a "ratcheting" effect but not any more than other mice I have used. The button presses have a clicking sound that is a bit louder than my current USB mouse but not that bothersome to me. The sleep mode works but there is a slight annoyance with a delay in clicking to wake it up. But that is not worth a lower rating. I tested the mouse on several different surfaces and it worked on all, although I usually use a mouse pad. The battery compartment opens easily, but is secure, and I've not always found that to be the case with other mice. And it only uses one AA battery. Overall, the mouse is ergonomic, works well, attractive (gray), and has both USB and Bluetooth modes. I just got the mouse a couple of days ago, so I can't speak yet to it's durability, battery life, or tech support (since it's worked well), but I am very please so far.

I literally used this mouse for less than 18 hours before I threw it out. Absolute garbage and I would not recommend using at all. Problems began when it would not power on at all. I tried putting 8 different AAA batteries inside to no avail until I realized the problem was my use of rechargeable batteries. Trying to use Energizer Rechargeable was not working at all under any circumstance, so I had to whip out some standard non-rechargeable Energizer batteries before it would even power on the mouse. After finally getting to use it, the sad realization that the Scroll Wheel is awful. It's small and thin compared to many other mice that I've used. It feels flimsy (cheap) and was pretty difficult to get it to actually spin. I've never had a mouse that took actual effort to move the Scroll Wheel, that is something that should move effortlessly in my opinion. That terrible realization was only compounded upon after trying to use it to scroll up and down on website pages. Despite adjusting the DPI on the mouse itself and my individual mouse settings on my laptop, the scroll wheel was basically useless. It would go terribly slow for a few scrolls then suddenly cause the page to move at light speed and scroll down incredibly fast. This happened non-stop for hours of use on multiple website pages. You would scroll and scroll painfully slow to get the web page to move, then while moving the Scroll Wheel at the same speed as previously, the page would suddenly scroll past at blazing speed and be extremely far past your intended location, possibly at the very bottom of the website. Then it got worse. The mouse would go into sleep mode and be extremely difficult to get back in working order. I would let it sit for a few minutes, come back to try and use it with no movement of the pointer on the screen at all. Clicking the mouse buttons to wake it up several times would lead to nothing. I would have to flip it over, turn the power to the mouse off, then back on, flip it over and click several times. Wait several seconds to a full minute, click some more and hope that it registered. Sometimes I would need to turn the power off and back on a few times in a row to before it would register and start working again. Thinking the problem might be the non-rechargeable batteries (since I wasn't sure how old they were, despite being in an unopened package that says it would expire in 2023) I went to a nearby store and bought a brand new package of Duracell AAA batteries. Came home and switched out the Energizers for the brand new Duracell batteries, only to continue to have all the same exact problems with the mouse. I continued to try and use the mouse for several more hours but the constant Scroll Wheel issues and sleeping without being able to easily awaken the device, finally led me to ditch it. Frustrated to have spent money on a product that ultimately ended up being junk. BESIDES ALL THAT, for my personal preference, the entire mouse itself feels made of extremely thin plastic that I wouldn't believe could hold up for any length of time, absolutely not under the circumstance of accidental falls onto a floor from any height greater than a few inches. It feels about 1/3 the weight of similar mice I've got from other companies, but the biggest noticeable area was the actual front click buttons. The plastic there is VERY thin compared to pretty much every decent mouse I've ever seen, making me think it would be susceptible to breakage pretty easily. I don't write many negative reviews at all, and usually try to wait several weeks to a month after purchase of any product before writing any review to give it ample time for actual testing and reflection on the results. This product turned out to be SO TERRIBLE for several reasons that I felt compelled to give it a negative review less than 24 hours after receiving it. That's how awful this product is. If you do have this and end up getting it to work better than my experience, I'd be very surprised if it lasts even 6 months max without needing to be replaced. The only positive things I can say about it would be that : 1) Ergonomically it was designed similar to other mice that I've owned and enjoyed, although it did feel just a tiny bit smaller in my hand than others of the same design, but just barely so I'm sure after prolonged use it would have still felt fine. 2) It did pair via Bluetooth to my device very quickly after getting it to power on. Sadly, everything else about this particular mouse turned out to be terrible.

I've owned this mouse now for almost 1 year. It has worked very well for me during that time. I use it extensively for work when on the move with a laptop. My only issue is the glue has started leaking out from under the thumb pad. Battery life: 8/10 - Generally pretty good and easy to pop out/in a new AA when needed every few months. I've had computer mice that have lasted longer, but 2-4 months on a single AA seems pretty reasonable to me. Buttons: 10/10 - Just enough without going overboard. Left/right main buttons. Clickable scroll wheel. Two thumb buttons along the left edge. One center button to change DPI. All still working great. No phantom clicks or unintended drops. Size and shape: 9/10 - Seems a nice size for my larger hand. Contoured nicely for right-handed to fit well with thumb on the left. Not too small so as to get lost in my hand or cause cramps trying to hold it. Not overly large. Features: 9/10 - Nice to have the option to choose either Bluetooth or USB. Both seem to work well. DPI selections seem decent. Mouse wheel has nice action with small, distinct stops. The main problem I'm having with it is that after this year of use, the glue under the rubber padded bits seems to be leaking out. It appears to be quite a soft glue and leaks out slowly from under the soft rubberized pad beneath the thumb. This ends up causing my hand to get sticky in random spots which becomes very frustrating to completely clean off.

Minus-Punkte: - Ich verwende sie unter Linux, und da kann ich die Bescheunigung höher stellen als bei Windows (soweit ich auswendig weiß, aber 2600 dpi sind wirklich sehr wenig für einen 4k Bildschirm und einen zweiten 1080p, gerade so erträglich - leichtes Ruckeln, meiner Meinung und Beobachtung nach, im Gegensatz zu meiner bis jetzt verwendeten Maus mit Kabel und ca 10k dpi. kann aber auch an den DPI liegen. + Bluetooth funktioniert und bin wirklich begeistert für den Preis zwei Computer-"Mäuse" erworben zu haben. + Seitentasten wahren mir sehr wichtig und die hat sie, auch funktionierend. + Betreibe sie mit 2 Ni-Mh Akkus, musste die Plus Pole aber bei der Maus für meine Batterien etwas heraus biegen damit sie Kontakt haben (sich berühren für Stromleitung). Das Aufwecken funktioniert bei mir bei Linux nicht ganz so schnell 2-3 oder sogar 4-5 Sekunden (vermutet), aber scheinbar mit allen Tasten, z.B. einem "Links-Klick" (dessen Klick natürlich nicht als Eingabe-Klick gilt, sondern zum Befehl: Maus aufwecken, dann sieht man auch unten das Rote Licht leuchten oder flackern, das man wohl von optischem Computer-Mäusen, abgehen von den Infrarot-Mäusen kennt.) Will sie dann für ein Office oder bzw. PC-System Verwenden (meine Gäste oder Mitarbeiter) verwenden, auch mit Bluetooth-Tastatur, und dafür freue ich mich sie zu haben.

Fits well in my head. No problem with Bluetooth pairing. The only issue I have with it, is that there is a lag after starting the computer before the mouse starts to work. It takes a few seconds and you have to keep moving the mouse until they are starts to move on the screen. That's a bit annoying. But I got to live with it.

It is working fine as BT on my main PC and as 2.4Ghz wireless on a less used second PC. Installation was straight forward, after figuring out that the nano USB receiver came inside the mouse.
