Great bin lock...very smart ..works and looks great..Instruction video online...very low resolution video (240) and unable to hear parts due to unnecessarily high volume music overlaid over the top...why the music! We just want instructions! Also I always misplace keys... you won’t want to lose this one.. I went to order a spare from their website..by the time you get to checkout and pay for postage... £9.42! Quite ridiculous! Great lock though ...15 mins to fit assuming you have all the tools..

A bit of a fiddle to fit, but I manged and I'm not that handy, but worth it and looks/works great.

Just buy it!! I've not got enough room to put a gate on my driveway and so many people use it as a turning bay, one day my car got hit and I ended up having to fit the bill.... Started putting my black wheelie bin Infront of my drive to protect my car and every rare occasion someone will put a can etc in there (doesn't bother me as it stops them putting it on the floor) but the care home have started putting full waste bags in my bin so half is already gone - when they have large biffa bins. After several times pulling them up about it with video evidence... It was so funny to watch them try and have to unlock their unit instead of being lazy! Peace of mind!

This is one of the most annoying bin locks that anyone could dream of buying. It arrived within days, but with no instructions to fit, unless you go online. Not everyone has access to online instructions and even then, the lock is one of the most difficult to fit, for a novice. You do need a drill and correct measurements...and oh, see-through eyes, as you will need to see through the bin to get the latch measured up to fit the catch. Having spent more than an hour trying to fit it to the bin, we have decided to forget it and just get another one of a different design...Absolute rubbish!

The lock itself is ok but the lock latch is very poor. In fairness, there was no product picture of the latch, however, in the linked installation video the latch shown is of better quality. The received latch is just a galvanize angle bracket that you can get for roughly 20 cents in any DIY hardware store. In sum, it works but it is completely overpriced for what you get - disappointing buy.
