It's tall, great support for my mattress(which is 12 inches tall) and best of all. . . Room for my dog to hide from everything that scares him! Thought I'd put storage boxes under at as it is 14 inches of clearance, but my lab,has his hidey hole. Love the center support feet UNTIL you stub your toes on them at 5 a.m. I'm a full figured girl so enjoy not worrying about breaking the bed jumping in it. People under 5'6 will say it's too tall, I'm 5'9 so no issue for me. One minor drawback is that the pillows get jammed under the headboard some nights, solved it by putting my body pillow there.
