SAMSUNG GEAR S3 FRONTIER Smartwatch 46MM (Bluetooth Only) - Dark Grey (Renewed)

I've been in the market for a smartwatch for a while. I am very picky about the design and functionality. I love the look of the Samsung gear s3, just something about being able to spin the bezel reminds me about some of the watches I had when I was younger. So I was super stoked to find one one here on Amazon in the renewed section. Unfortunately this is an older model and was in acceptable condition but a steal at just 36.00. I noticed that the battery had a hard time keeping a charge and it would die within a few hours. Looking for accessories I found this replacement battery. It was pretty cheap and came with the tools to change it. It was not too difficult and took about 20 minutes start to finish to change. The hardest part for me was getting the back off without damaging the wires. Then putting it back together correctly. I would recommend taking some pictures before and during the process just to make it easier putting it back together. There is nothing solder it all just snapped back together easily. Put it on the charger and now it works better then ever and being 520ma the battery last almost twice as long. The only additional tools I use was a flat head screwdriver to gently pry the back off and a magnifying glass to be able to see the wire connections better. So now I'm into my watch for about 50bucks and absolutely love it. The only thing that I wish it would do is monitor my blood pressure but unfortunately living in the US the FDA regulates the ability and function of that here in the US, even on the newer versions of galaxy watches. Hope this helps if anyone is stuck on the fence of whether or not to buy an older smart watch.

I wanted to wait a little bit before leaving any review for my S3 Gear, as I'm sure we all know, buying anything refurbished can be a big gamble when it comes to functionality, but so far I'm more than thrilled by my purchase. The watch looks great, functions exactly as advertised, and is everything I was looking for in a smartwatch. My only complaint is that the battery drains quickly when the Always On Display feature is active, even on the lowest brightness, but it was expected based on other reviews I researched prior to buying this product, and when that feature is off the battery has been great for me, which is lucky because I work 12 hour shifts and wouldn't really have the opportunity to charge it mid-shift. I have yet to use the Samsung pay feature, with the effects of COVID still ever-present in my area, I haven't really had the opportunity to test it out, but I can definitely say it's enabled. The heart monitor and Bluetooth functionality have booth worked great, I have had no issues connecting to my phone whatsoever. The sleep tracking is accurate, and it also reminds you when you've been stationary for a while. Switching between apps is simple and intuitive, and responds well, even with the additional screen guard on it. The screen is crisp and clear, and it's easy to set your preferred watchface with the accompanying mobile app. The rubberized band is good for me because of how easy it is to clean off, but thats more of a personal preference. There are a myriad of options to choose from online in terms of style, fashion, and fit if you're not crazy about it as well. Anyways, if it's something you've been wanting, I say go for it. I'll be sure to update this review should anything change.

I needed this to stay updated with messages while working (chef). Honestly was not expecting too much, but was pleasantly surprised with its features. I can accept and take calls, texts, messages. Weather updates, news, other notifications. The health part is a little strange for me, since I am literally taking thousands of steps per day walking around the restaurant the entire day. The rubber strap works well with hands being washed constantly, and is comfortable. Negative- original one I purchased as an Amazon guaranteed refurbished product had a battery that ended up overheating while charging every single time. It would never fully charge, but stop every 15 or 20%, and the watch would be extremely hot. I reached out to Amazon customer service and explained the entire situation and they said they ordered another to be sent in another two days. The replacement works fine! Still keeping watch on the battery. Also, the battery life of the watch drains faster than I want, so I only use it while working. The Bluetooth distance from phone is about 15-20 feet.

I received a Fitbit in the first package, so was a little disappointed, but the seller responded immediately to phone/emails and sent the correct product out the same day. The watch was in generic packaging but there was not a single scratch or scuff on it, I couldn't tell it from new. The charger is aftermarket, I've never had a Samsung one to compare, but it charges the watch wirelessly in two hours from almost zero charge. Even being a new user and playing with it constantly, battery life is 20+hrs, I actually bought a second charger for work but haven't had to use it yet. I've used it as a phone a couple of times, it works well - I'm in IT so if I'm under a desk somewhere it's handy to have the call make/receive feature. I love getting my email and text on the watch, I'm able to respond by voice or quick reply without having to get my phone out, which is great. I really didn't think I'd be all that impressed as I usually wear a regular watch and bought it on a lark but I have grown to really like this watch. I didn't review the sleep tracking as I don't use the feature, but the other health features (heartbeat/steps/calories burned) seem spot on and have made me aware of my general health, the watch senses if you have been sitting for an hour plus and suggests you get up and move around or at least stretch at your desk. I even bought a metal band thinking I wouldn't be happy with the rubber band but have yet to fit it due to the comfort of the rubber band. After I downloaded two apps, the watch linked seamlessly with my Metro (T-Mobile) Motorola G Stylus that is itself a couple or three years old. The available apps and watch faces are all I need for now, overall a solid purchase. Overall, even though the watch is a few generations behind, I'm amazed at how happy I am with my purchase.

When i received the watch i used it for about three weeks and the screen froze then the watch did not work for about five minutes. It happened again a few days later so i called Samsung and they told me to send it in and i will have it back in a max of two weeks. Once i sent the watch in, i received an email stating my watch had been received and put on hold for unavailable parts. I did not hear anything else for a couple weeks and this is when i started contacting the service line daily for one month. Every time I called I would get a different answer every time. I was led on believing I was "going to be receiving my watch within the next week" for nearly two and a half months. Finally they decided to issue a replacement and when i received the new refurbished device the bezel was initially 'crunchy' when rotated and was also lose. i contacted the repair center where i was then transferred to case management. I explained my situation and was told to send the device back to get a repair. I stated that i did not want to do that because of the chance of another horrid experience and from there i was promised and reassured that i would have my watch back in my hands within a max of a week and a half. I trusted that this information was true and that I wouldn't be treated so poorly again so i decided to send it back for the repair. Four days later I called since I had not received anything besides the device had been received, the associate I was talking to told me the repair was underway and I would have the device back within a week. Later on that same day I received an email stating that the device has been put on hold once again for unavailable parts. Watch itself is great! But good luck if you have a problem and have to go through the warranty process.

OVERALL REVIEW: I bought two of these one for myself and one for my dad as a Christmas present. I’ve had it for about 2 months now. Upon receiving my package the original gear s3 box was slightly damaged but everything inside was in fantastic shape, no flaws and all original equipment. BATTERY LIFE REVIEW: The battery life of the gear s3 frontier is fantastic!! Even with heavy use and highly intensive screen savors the gear s3 frontier lasts at least 2 days which was far better then my Apple Watch and with minimal use it has lasted up to 4 days for me which is really nice. DURABILITY REVIEW: The rubber watch bands that came with the watch were originals and were in good condition. the watch it’s self arrived in good condition and is well made. One thing that I am bummed about is that the gray paint on the bezel wheel is easily scratch under daily use and is pretty noticeable if you try to keep your things nice. If you don’t mind scratches, then you probably won’t Care to much As The paint hasn’t chipped so far and looks almost new after a few months of hard core use! EASY TO USE REVIEW: So for it is pretty easy to use and fun to use as well. I am using it with iPhone however so there are a number of things that I can not do. You can learn the watch pretty quickly and is self explanatory! If you have an iPhone I would recommend you get an Apple Watch as you can utilize more features like the find my iPhone which I really miss!! However if you are looking to get out of the Apple realm this is the way to go!! I enjoy the s3 far more then my Apple Watch, it looks great, feels great, and is fricking awesome!! Miss some features of the Apple Watch but the s3 is far superior and I do not regret switching to this bad boy! Hope this helps!! P.S the dealer is great and contacted me shortly after delivery to see if every was working and as discribed.

The watch itself is great. The company I chose to get it from did a great job. The watch might as well have been brand new. The good: watch arrived clean, well packaged, fully functional and with all appropriate accessories. It shipped quickly. The seller did great. The bad: the battery life is not the greatest. Did all I could to optimize the battery life and I'm only able to get about a day and maybe a half. I know it says it should be 3 to 4 days on 1 charge but that's not going to happen with this watch. The app on the phone is ok. Some things are a bit confusing at least for me and I'm fairly tech savvy. I also had to reset the watch after setting it up the first time (downloading and installing the latest update and firmware) The first set up the rise to wake function wasnt working, and the watch wasnt connecting to bluetooth. I put it on charge over night and the next morning it told me to reset the watch. I did, and everything has worked great since. Overall very satisfied. The main issues are just getting used to the app which is my own issue not any fault of anyone else. So if you buy, just pick a seller with a good rating and hope for the best. Any purchase with anything is hit or miss, just do your research first.

4 stars is too much and 3 stars is to low. I like the watch but the battery doesn't seem to hold a charge like it is supposed to. Approximately 20 hours drained in nearly 11 hours. I'm getting concerned that it'll only get worse. I've changed some settings again to see if the battery's life will improve. I'll keep posting on this issue. Update. 36 hrs lost in approximately 9 hrs. See second set of pictures. I had changed settings to get nearly two days. Now i may not make it another 9 hrs.. i changed the rating to 3 stars too. 1 month I thought I'd keep the watch a little longer. This morning the battery life said 54% 1 day 9hrs. That was about 10 hrs ago. It just died after 10 hrs. Getting tired of the inconsistency. One last chance.. Month and a half I put the watch on the charging base last night. At the time it indicated there was 8% battery life. Well, this morning the watch was very warm, almost hot. Then it had trouble booting and took a bit longer to start up. Finally, I check the battery life remaining using the Wearables app and it had only 53% battery life after sitting on the charger all night. I think it's time to send back.

Refurbished unit. Works great. I broke my original so wanted to replace but didn't want to buy one of the new really expensive ones. This one does everything I need. Do understand you can't do NFC pay with this version as that isn't supported anymore. Fine by me as I don't want to pay with my watch.

Nach einem Monat war die Uhr defekt. Die Akkuleistung war sehr schlecht,hat mit einer Ladung gerade mal ~30 Stunden durchgehalten. Ich bezweifle stark, daß ein neuer Akku verbaut wurde (was ich bei einem ordentlichen Refurbish erwarten würde!). Mein Fazit: Nur noch neu kaufen!

Excelente reloj. Llegó antes de lo esperado empacado perfectamente con sus accesorios como nuevo. El reloj aparenta ser totalmente nuevo y funciona perfectamente.
