Was told the dual o-ring is no longer available. Where?** A: A very good question, indeed, since leaks are a common complaint with many of the 4" diameter housings. I specifically looked at this unit because the detail photo does show two O-rings. Was this housing redesigned? Does it still have the grooves for two O-rings, or was one of them completely eliminated? If so, which one was removed, the top or the side O-ring? If the groove is still there, can I add the second O-ring myself as a supplemental seal? And if yes, what size is it? (My apologies for responding to a question with a load of other questions. I'm really not a politician! I promise! But I do feel this subject needs further explanation from the manufacturer. Thanks!) **Q: This item has two o-rings. From the picture they look like they are two different thicknesses and two different diameters. Replacement Source?** A: I purchased this exact model. There is only 1 O ring on the one that i received. **Q: Will this be the same size and thread pattern for an aqua pure ap802 filter housing? want to replace just the sump part of the big blue.** A: Yes exactly the same ! ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Issues with product quality and fitment but EXCELLENT Customer Service *by K***B on December 25, 2020* Product arrived damaged due to UPS handling (no fault of vendor). It works but mine leaks ever so slightly. It allows me to change the filter monthly instead of weekly. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bluonics 4.5 x 20-inch Whole House Water Filter with 1" US NPT Brass Ports for Standard Size 4.5 x 20 Cartridge - Complete with Wrench, Bracket and Screws - iSpring WSP-1000 Reusable Whole House Spin Down Sediment Water Filter, 1000 Micron, Flushable Prefilter Filtration, 20GPM, 1" MNPT + 3/4" FNPT, Brass - SimPure Whole House Water Filter Housing, Inline Water Filter for Home, Universal 10 inch Sediment Filter with 3/4 NPT Inlet and Outlet, Heavy Duty Steel Bracket, 4 Screws, Wrench --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/82082010-4-5x20-inch-whole-house-water-filter-purifier-clear](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/82082010-4-5x20-inch-whole-house-water-filter-purifier-clear) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-24*
