Very pleased with this adaptor can use my brompton cycle with it

Glad this adapter is available and adaptable perfectly to my adorable Brompton. A must for Brompton bicycle owners, with tires having an outside diameter of 22" or less. With exceptional apps and realistic training classes, going to the gym is less attractive. I own the Kinetic Road Machine | Smart 2. If you have a Brompton, you will also need the Internal Chain Actuated Cone Cup for bicycles until 2018 models. (Part no. T-2106 | UPC 851061001518) I purchased the internal chain actuated cup from the Kinetic by Kurt website. 2018 and newer Brompton models require the Internal Gear Cone Cup. (Part no. T-2108 | UPC 851061001495)

Installed this on my Kinetic Road Machine 2.0 for my wife's ElliptiGO bike. Installation was fairly easy and all the parts fit together well. No real complaints other than if I want to go back to my full size wheel road bike, I have to disassemble the unit and swap everything back. Would have been nice if they could have come up with a way to make this "quick detach" instead of nuts and bolts.

Bought the adapter because the kids watched me ride and wanted in. Takes a bit of time to switch from original hardware to adapter but I mostly run so I get two days of biking per week in the winter and they get the other 5 days. My kids are 9 and 6 so it fits small wheels.

Does exactly as advertised. It is an adapter for the indoor bike trainer devised especially for smaller bikes. In my case we needed for our ElliptiGo, Elliptical bike. The package cam promptly, the instructions were instructive and everything was constructed perfectly (no misaligned holes, missing hardware) etc. We had it installed in about 20 mins.

took a lot of futzing to fit a brompton, still doesn't work right. can be pedaling and all of a sudden the gear gives. use at own risk. way too expensive for it to not work properly, but there are so few options
