Water savings, money savings, too simple not to do!
Excellent product! My current aerators are either 1.5 or 2.0 gpm. I'm trying to do my part to save water and, naturally, shave $ off my water bill. I'm a handy guy but it's good to note replacing the old one was very simple and only required an adjustable wrench. Twist off the old, twist on the new. I love the flow of the new faucet, the old one was like 1 round stream (hence more water). I really like sprinkler effect of the new one, with multiple streams of water coming out. It makes washing hands easier and helps suds up the soap on your hand. I can tell there is less water being used but for every-day things like hand washing, face washing, the occasional hand scrub, it does the job and does it well. I use about 10 minutes of water a day using my sinks. So lets do the math, using the least consuming faucet I had--- 1.5 gpm x 10 equals 15 gallons a day. Now with .5 GPM I use 10 gallons less a day. 30 days = 300 Gallons a month. I'm pairing this with new shower heads thats are about 1/3 less water usage. So I expect to my purchase to give me a return on investment in literally one month! You should do the same : )

Very efficient
Although our blue planet is over 70% covered with water, less than %1 is available for human consumption and those reserves are getting lower and lower day by day. So it is down to all of us to avoid wasting fresh water. That is the main reason I bought this product. I live in a large house however when we make a basic calculation you will see it equally beneficial to your budget as well. I have 6 faucets at home (kitchen and bathroom together) and without aerator they have a flow rate of about 4 gallon per minute. Assume that a family spends 20 minutes a day having taps on (at minimum) in total for washing hands, face or brushing teeth. Regular taps would lose 80 gallons while aerator fit ones would lose 10 gallons. Each day a family saves 70 gallons and this makes over 25500 gallons a year. The cost of water is $1.5 for 1000 gallons and so this makes a minimum saving of $38.25. Considering this water is mostly warm water, you will also save from the heating costs and plus will conserve thousands of gallons of water for the nature. It is such a win win win situation. Now, you may ask how adequate is the flow rate for daily needs? I have been using it over a week for all my needs. Before installing this one I had aerators that were 1.5 gallons per minute and despite the 3x decrease in flow rate and I can say that you will never notice the difference unless you are using your household faucets for filling a tank truck. If I become more specific about this item, what I like best are 1- 6 pack size (very convenient for replacing a whole house) and the storage tube it comes with (if you have extras you may keep them in. 2- Price: Normally Home Depot is cheaper when it comes to these small household items but for this particular product, something similar costs $4.25/item in home depot. Here a 6 pack costed me $10.99. It is a bargain price not to be missed (not to mention free prime shipping as well) 3- Less bubbly then regular aerators. This feels like a shower head rather than aerator which puts lots of bubbles. Some people like it other way but to me it is okay like this. So, considering the overall benefits and the price I strongly recommend purchasing this item. It is very easy to install (just don't screw too hard which would make it difficult if you need to remove) and saves you and the nature a lot without sacrificing from your comfort.

Great for bathroom sinks
Replaced all of my bathroom sinks with these. The old ones were all 2.5 gal a minute, so was a bit of a jump down to .5. You can definitely tell the difference in how much water comes out. For me, in a bathroom, where you are just washing your hands and brushing your teeth, they work great. I personally like the way the water comes out in multiple streams, my wife does not all that much, but she doesn't hate them either. They fit in the outer sleeves that came with my faucets nicely, although I did have some trouble with the rubber washers and getting them installed. One rubber washer was not enough, so I had to use two and that made them not be able to screw in all that far so they kind of stick out a bit farther now. Not really a big deal though. I would definitely recommend them for a bathroom if you are interested in saving some water. Plus they are cheap, so even if you don't like them, you are not loosing that much money.

mother earth needs more fresh water than we do

Works, Looks Nice, Great Price for So Many!
So, first things first, this saves a LOT of water from our old, fully-open faucets. The water comes out in a nice, expanded stream. However, it your hands are covered in mud or something, the stream might be a little too weak to do a good job (so maybe leave at least one sink in tact in case you need a stronger stream at any point). But for the most part, I'm just so thankful that when I wash my hands, more water is actually being used, rather than going straight down the drain. Now, even if I have guests over, I don't have to worry if they turned it all the way on, because even with the sink fully on, it only uses so much water. REALLY makes a difference when you pay for your water! All you need to do is unscrew the old ones (if yours is as old as ours were, you'll probably need pliers and the elbow grease of a few different people). Then, put on a thin layer of plumbing tape so it doesn't leak, and screw it on. That's really all there is to it! For anyone trying to conserve water, these will make you happy!

Perfect 0.5GPM Aerators
UPDATE 02/11/19: I really love the water pressure and the quality of these for the most part, but they seem to throttle the water in such a way that it made our pipes shake and sounded like someone was jackhammering on our home every time we turned the faucets on. I thought it might have been the pipes, it sounded like they were going to rupture, but I tried removing these from both sinks on a whim... And the problem disappeared. It was also something where you had to run the water a long time to build up any hot water, which can't be a good thing for water conservation. Ultimately, they stayed off and we just try to not turn the water up high. I really love these in theory, but in practice they just did not work long-term. OG Review: I LOVE these. Super easy to fit on, super versatile for both sinks we have (I needed both male and female). Seem to be good quality, too. The water pressure is solid especially since my husband was iffy about only 0.5GPM, but he's a total convert now. The pricing is on point, too. Spend over $10 for two or get 6 so you have replacements for $9? Easy sell.

Easy to install and GREAT for general bathroom use
As soon as I got this set (6pk) of aerators in, I got them installed. They went in without issue and provide a nice flow. Definitely wouldn't recommend these if high pressure/flow is needed or preferred. As many folks have mentioned, these work well for general bathroom uses like brushing teeth and washing hands. I purchased this pack of aerators alongside two (2) Niagara N2515CH shower heads as part of our endeavor to be more conscientious regarding our water usage, so I am excited to see how it impacts our water bill (I know, probably one of the very few people alive excited to see their water bill). We also placed one (1) quart size plastic carton filled with water inside each of our toilet reservoirs for water displacement, so that should also weigh-in. All in all, if you are looking for a more water-usage friendly product, this pack of aerators will work nicely for your general use bathroom faucets. Be sure to also check out the Niagara N2515CH shower heads as alternatives for your showers. Plus, consider the easy lifehack of filling a water bottle or some such container to have placed in your toilet reservoir for water displacement.

These things do not last.
I have altered the review below. All but one of these has stopped working and it has only been two months. Can not return them. Believe the reviews where people say the flow has slowed down to a drizzle. Makes me sad. I bought another brand that is 1.5 and honestly, when these worked the difference was undetectable to me. I really am dissapointed. When they worked, my water bill dropped $20. My old review: Ok, it takes getting used to but once you do they are fantastic. Perfect for bath vanity stuff like hand washing or teeth brushing or face rinsing. Take a second or two longer to get the soap off your face but only one or two more seconds. Best value on Amazon. Put them in all 6 bathrooms. Water bill nearly dropped nearly in half. Replaced the shower fixtures with 1.5 spray heads and I think this year we will save $50 a month. City Water here ( Roswell, GA) is expensive.

Saving the planet one half gallon at a time
Great for reducing water consumption on older bathroom or kitchen faucets. Having a family of four, I have seen the impact on my water bill.
