No real issues after several years of use.
Been running this unit for 5 years straight in my Semi truck. Works great. Does a great job maintaining temperatures. Runs very quiet. Mostly run as a refrigerator but have been used as a freezer on a road trip with my family. It's a little heavy to be pulling in and out of the truck every week when I take my 34's so now I just empty it out and leave it in the truck. Doesn’t have the best insulation. So if you lose power you are going to have to find a solution. I carry an A/C and D/C power solution so if I end up in a hotel or mechanic I can plug in to the wall outlet. After about 4 years one of the handles has started to fall apart. Overall great purchase. Would recommend or buy again if I ever need to.

Great car fridge
I used this on a 2 night camping trip with my niece. There was plenty of room for all my food. It was really cold. I read to set is on 35 and it was too cold for my salad fixins. My celery actually started to freeze.

Good for the price
Nice, the size is okay, good enough, the unit is budget friendly, and light weight but the handles do protrude, I may remove them. It is struggling to stay as cool as i would like, say anything below 44 degrees seems to take extra energy to keep it that cool. I think it is not insulated very well, this is probably the cause, the walls aren’t too think, I may need to make it more insulated somehow.

loving it, it will get down to below freezing
I got this a few days before going on a camping trip. It will freeze if you set the temperature to low. This came as a surprise to me when I had the temp set to 35 and we pulled our steaks out of the cooler and they where solid chunks of ice. Also this thing barely uses power, on the Eco setting my Jackery Explorer 300 showed it pulling 35w before settling down to 25w, and an estimated 6-8 hours of run time. I've found the hidden menu settings and have tried to get the internal temperature correct but it's a process. Overall this thing is amazing. Many years ago the only company making these was ARB, but now there's a huge selection of relatively low cost options. It's a great option if you need a cooler and can't or don't want to mess with ice. Also, the drain plug is a nice feature.

Lid is cheaper now but still a decent buy
I've had two of these now, the first one (~5yr ago) was great, the second one (~2025) has a cheaper lid with no seal and no latch, so moisture gets in and the walls freeze over, and it has a harder time staying at temp in hot weather. Otherwise it is still a good product, the app always connects and works well, and the device is quiet and effective. Works well on both AC and DC. I like that it is just the right height inside for a standard gallon milk container, and I like that it has a little light inside when you open the lid, great for camping at night. The price has come down since 2021, so I suppose you get what you pay for.

Durable!!!! Survived a bear attack!
We’ve had this cooler for several months, and have LOVED it! It’s worked flawlessly in our off-roading excursions and camping trips. Our last trip - in Grand Lake, CO - was a real treat. The campground told,us to make sure our coolers were put away at night (in camper/cabin/car), but we’ve been here several times and never had a problem. Our luck ran out this time - I heard a horrible racket outside our RV and knew immediately that a bear was messing with our coolers! I filmed him from inside the camper. We banged in the walls, turned lights on/off, to no avail. He was at our campsite for 30+ minutes. When he ate all the food from our cooler he got in the bed of our pickup and trashed it. The next morning we went out and examined the damage….all my food was gone (he REALLY liked the chocolate - wrappers and all. He tried the green chili and tamales, but left most of it behind. What a damn shame, and such a mess!). As I was watching him abuse our cooler, I thought we would have to buy a new one. Nope! We plugged it in the next day, and it is still working like a champ! Before any armchair warriors want to tell me that we should’ve brought our cooler in, or call us city folk - STFU. It was our mistake. We own it. This is a review of this cooler. We love it!!!!! Highly recommend!

Worked, then warped, customer service sent a used, damaged replacement part
The C30 fridge works well, is reasonably quiet, and seems efficient. The temperature regulation is good, as long as there's something inside. The app is OK, although I don't really see the point. The magnetic catch secures the lid nicely. One of the magnets turns the interior light off just before the lid closes. This means you can prop the lid up an inch or so to allow some airflow when the fridge is off, without draining your battery or having to disconnect the power supply. Unfortunately after a couple of months the lid of the fridge warped upwards at the corners, as shown in the picture. The resulting gap is almost 4mm, enough that the lid gasket probably isn't sealing properly anymore. Time will tell whether the fridge works acceptably. An email to the Alpicool customer service address was apparently ignored. Update: The fridge with the warped lid does not seal properly. In use, a large amount of water condenses inside the fridge. Alpicool customer service did answer my email; I did not see their reply because it ended up my my spam folder. They agreed to send me a replacement cover. Unfortunately, they sent me a very used, very damaged replacement. The second two pictures show the condition of the part they sent me. The replacement is also warped, even more than the original. The upper part of the lid also appears to be separating from the inner part of the lid. In summary, the C30 seems mechanically OK, but the lid is either of poor design or poor choice of materials, and is prone to warping to the point that the fridge no longer closes properly. Given that their "fix" was to send me a piece of junk, I cannot recommend buying from Alpicool.

Great so far, missing some features
I’ve used this fridge for about 1 solid month. It has worked flawlessly so far. It’s a great size, not too big, not too small. I like receiving a 12v and a 120v power cable, many 12v fridges in this range do not come with the AC adaptor. The temp control took some trial and error to get the actual internal temp correct, but once you get it to a good temp, it does great at maintaining it. I’ve powered it with my vehicles starting battery for 24 hours and did not have any trouble starting it. I’ve also used my bluetti 500w solar charger battery pack on DC and it ran for 36 hours and the pack still had 25% charge. These tests were at a set temp of 34f. The fridge pulls around 14-40w while the compressor is running. The only strike I can give this fridge was misleading information on Amazon. When I say misleading, the info is on there just hard to decipher. This fridge does not come with an LED light in the lid or the body of the fridge. This unit also did not come with Bluetooth connectivity (bonus for me, I didn’t want or need it, just more of a power draw). I think the confusion is that the bigger units have it and they just use the same copy for all of the sizes. Also, there is no drain plug. All in all I’m very satisfied with this alpicool 12v fridge. It’s a steal for the price and so far has delivered the goods!

Decepcionado
Así me llego el producto, dañado y parece que fue un golpe fuerte o se les cayó. Todavía no lo e probado, desconozco que el golpe afecte el funcionamiento.

not the same as on picture
Not sure, if I got scammed or not, but by the looks of it, it seems I got A30, not C30. A-series lid, no bluetooth, no drain plug, no light inside... but it wasn't advertised to have those. All labels and packaging says C30. I give it a try, all that matters to me, will it handle vibration, because I'm using it in semi truck.
