Q: Would this affix to a metal 5 bar, 8 foot farm gate or would it need a block of wood attaching to the metal gate?

Hi It is attached to a metal bar - Large gate It’s a shutter gate lock bolt that slides in from the door post Hope this helps as we had it fitted by someone else Best wishes

Hi, This lock is supplied with a digital keypad on both sides of the lock and if you want to swap the handing of the lock you loosen the alan key screw in the end of the latchbolt and rotate the latchbolt as desired. The lock is supplied with the necessary alan key. Hope this help!

Q: Do the digits have to be entered in the right order or will the lock accept any combination, as long as the digits are correct?

Hello, You do not need to enter the combination in a specific order, they can be entered in which ever order aslong as each number is pressed. Thanks
