Disney INFINITY: Toy Box Bundle Pack (2.0 Edition) Video Game Starter Pack - Xbox 360 - Not Machine Specific

I bought this for this for my granddaughter this Christmas. Purchased for the Xbox 360. This box contained 2 characters - Merida and Stitch, white “tower”, game disc, USB game base, web code card and a small poster. The setup is easy. Plug in the USB base to the gaming system, insert the disc, put your chosen character and the tower on the base and the gameplay will start with that character. Or you enter the toy box mode by removing the tower piece from the base and you can create your own world – this was the part my granddaughter liked. If you put the hexagonal power disc in place of the tower you can customize different things like gadgets and vehicles. Put the circular disc on the character stand and put the character on the disc and have more powers! Add more discs to add more powers - the possibilities are endless! I usually don’t play video games but this time is different. I actually enjoy playing this one with her (and have even secretly played on my own). Add different characters from the 2.0 series and get a whole new gaming experience. Each new character has different abilities within the game. There is so much to do in this game with different characters. Usually I think video games are incredibly overpriced but this is one of the few times I will say it was well worth the price paid.

I am not sure if this is the difference between the starter pack and the toy box, but the game requires that you build a world to play in before starting to play. Kind of a different approach and my kids all 9 and under don't seem to like it that much, they play skylanders a lot more.

It’s good really fun

I like it a lot, but feel Disney dropped the ball with the whole Infinity series too much. They could have approached the whole system from a different angle, and created new stories, included more beloved characters with their own games to play, and it would have made the whole Infinity universe SO much better. Some characters were just there to use in toy box, and others, never came about. What a loss in that case. SOOO many possibilities never explored or developed. Gravity Falls, Dalmations, Rescuers, on and on. But they chose Marvel, and that was a cult following at best. I believe they could have made the player live the stories and done SO much more than they did. This series never did get to its full potential for reasons only Disney knows. A real shame.

Did not have 2.0 game disk, did not come with stitch, did not include toybox power discs. Merida figure was deformed. Did not come with web code card. Box had food, crumbs and what looks like old cheese in it

I bought this for my kids even though they didn't ask for it. My kids were hooked (I mean really hooked) on Skylanders. I bought this to offer another option. After a few days, they gave it a try. At first, we were all frustrated because we didn't understand the Tool Box or how to Build - no instructions came with package. After searching the web, and lots of trial & error, my kids eventually liked this game better than Skylanders. I couldn't believe it! The only thing is that Disney gets ya.... you have to buy the characters plus "power discs" which cost $5 for 2. And you don't know what power discs you get because the packaging doesn't tell you. AAHHHH Oh well. My fault. But doesn't matter now because my kids love it so much. My kids are 5 and 8.

This is the worst game ever. I have 4 kids and they all are very disappointed with it. All you can do it build worlds
