Clear Care Cleaning & Disinfecting Solution with Lens Case, Twin Pack, 12-Ounces Each

I have used 'Clear Care' for years. It was recommended by an optometrist (specializing in contact lenses) when I lived in America - and I have used it ever since.

Excellent product to keep scleral contact lenses clean. I’m extremely happy with the results.Just follow the product instructions.I usually let the contact lenses rest in the solution for all night and when I’m use them after been in the solution I can feel they are really clean and my eyes feel fresh I really like the feeling.I recommend this product but always follow the instructions as it’s a peroxide mix it could burn your eyes if you don’t follow the instructions.I use the solution once a week.

First, one of the ratings was for travel, I would absolutely not travel with this stuff. One, there is a "venting" hole at the top of the lens container, so it isn't fluid tight. Two, get a bit on your hands, see what happens. When my eye doctor gave me a sample, I accidentally got a bit on one of my fingers, and it looked like my skin was peeling off. It wasn't, it washed off eventually, and I didn't damage my skin, but it also didn't stay on long, and it specifically says to avoid skin contact. I can't imagine what this stuff would do if it accidentally spilled in my suitcase, don't want to know, not going to travel with it.That said, I love what happens when you stick the little lens holder into the tube, it gets all bubbly and cleans your lenses. Initially I only wore my contacts around the house when I got the bottle (it was right before the holidays), so there was only a bit of bubbles, but then I had one day where I was all over the place, stuff was in the air, my eyes were getting irritated, and I popped my lenses out a bit early that day. It was like a mini eruption when I stuck the lens holder into the tube, even my husband commented on how dirty it seemed they had gotten and we both watched until it settled down a bit.Now for the paranoia part. This comes with some pretty strong warnings, one being you can't wear the lenses for several hours after you put them in the solution, unless you thoroughly rinse them with another type of solution. Which gets me thinking, what the heck am I about to stick in my eyes? This has hydrogen peroxide in it, and I get the science behind it, the neutralizing, etc. I'm still neurotic. So, while I have worn these straight out of the container, after the prescribed minimum time, and had no problems whatsoever. I also tend to rinse my lenses with another solution if I'm too close to the prescribed minimum, like seven hours (it's a six hour minimum), and I'm still rinsing them. My eye doctor says a lot of her patients do that no matter how long they've sat in the solution, and most are like me, I like that I know they're clean, but I'm not sure about the peroxide part of it. Plus my eyes tend to dry out a lot, so I like using my other solution for a bit of moisture when I put them in. I'm completely content with my two solution process, so I will continue buying and this is on subscription too.

Nothing cleans and disinfects contacts better. Good for hard or soft.

Purchased it for the 5th time for my daughter's Ortho-K lens. Very happy with the quality of the product.
