It has a large storage area inside, and the one side of it pulls up very easily with barely a touch of your hand, and the same going down back in place. It is very nicely made, and does not look cheap at all. No assembly just screw four legs on and Voila your all done. The fabric is pretty and shiny. it seems like it’s gonna be very easy to wipe off with a damp cloth. It is quite firm which works well for sitting a tray table on it when one side is pulled up to a table or left flat as in picture. I plan to use a soft pillow to make it more comfortable for my feet. I bought it so that I can eat on it, and use my computer. I definitely recommend this product to dress up your living room or den. It’s perfect for me!
