This pans are great! I ordered two of them and they both arrived in pristine condition. I've used them several times for baking breads of various sorts and all have turned out well. The non-stick coating is very good, but I still apply a thin film of non-stick spray just to be sure. Clean up is easy in the sink, I never put them in the dishwasher. As with all non-stick items like this, I only use plastic or Teflon coated utensils. If you're looking for heavy grade standard size bread pans, these are for you. Be advised however that these are not straight sided pans. The bottoms are smaller than the tops so that they can nest one inside the other. If you need straight sided pans you'll need to look elsewhere.

I made the Bottom chocolate Sourdough Babka with this pan. Comes out easy, easy to clean. I prefer the metal to the glass baking dishes. I'm still trying to perfect my braiding techniques for this bread. But it's delicious. Helps to have a good baking pan.

Love this pan for baking sourdough sandwich loaves. Just ordered another one and they're well worth it. Well constructed and durable. Amazing what a difference a really good pan makes in the quality of bread. And this 8-1/2 by 4-1/2 size is hard to find -almost impossible to find in the stores around here. Just make sure you dry it well before you put it away. The Folded corners and the wire rod reinforcement can hold a bit of moisture that you don't notice so I dry them well with a towel and then let them air-dry for few hours before I stack them and store them and I don't have any rust problems. Depending on your climate you may need to air-dry them longer but if you do this you shouldn't ever have a problem and they'll last forever!

I was looking for a loaf pan that I could use in my air fryer and this is perfect! Fits great in my bucket style air fryer. I've used it to make a meatloaf and a small lasagna in the air fryer and it was perfect! Just the right size for 2 - with some left for lunch. Sturdy Easy to clean Great non-stick surface Would definitely buy again!

I have other Chicago Metallic loaf pans, never an issue. The new ones leave food in the corners at the folds of the pans. They bake well, no sticking

I prefer dark loaf pans to shiny as they tend to Brown them bread better you can leave a shiny pan and it's so in the oven longer to get brown but then it's dry...so I prefer the dark pans. These pans are well made non-stick although I still oil the pan they're perfect...

This was a replacement for a pan I already had. I used the old one so much during the pandemic, one of the two I had was just somewhat damage to the point I shouldn't cook with it again, but it was at least 5 years old or more. With a non stick surface and if things get over baked too many times, it doesn't do any favors to the coating. Seems to be exactly like the old one I discarded, only used it once or twice, but I have had great luck with this brand over the years.
