I recently purchased the VENTION 8K 4K Long HDMI Cable (2 meters), and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in terms of both performance and build quality. First and foremost, this cable supports a wide range of HDMI devices, including the PS5, PC, TV monitor, Soundbar, and Nintendo Switch. This versatility is a big plus, as it eliminates the need for multiple cables for different devices. The HDMI 2.1 compatibility is where this cable truly shines. It can handle 8K resolution at 60Hz and 4K at a remarkable 120Hz. The Ultra HD 48Gbps bandwidth ensures that I get crystal-clear, high-quality visuals with no lag or artifacting. Whether I'm gaming on my PS5 or watching 4K content, the picture quality is stunning. The eARC (enhanced Audio Return Channel) support is a fantastic addition, especially for those with home theater setups. For the price, I wasn't expecting much. Very happily surprised with the depth, clarity, colours and sharpness of this through my Denon AVR 2800H, PS5, Xbox Series X & the Oled LG. Also had the same fantastic results in the Sky Q box & Sky Glass.

It isn't certified, but then I bought another brand recently which was 'certified' and that one glitched like crazy. This one appears to be working very nicely, no glitches yet. It has snug-fitting HDMI plugs. It is connected between a 3090 and an 8k HDMI Switch input, which has a RuiPro optical cable from the output going to the oled. I also purchased a 3M version of this model, but it glitched like crazy and also the HDMI plugs were not a snug fit (had horizontal play). As I can only assign one review to the model of cable and not by length, I have deducted 1 star in reference to the 3M version of the cable, however that is misleading, because if this review was just for the 3M cable then I would only give it 1 star as it was not functional in my use-case. 2M is absolutely fine. At this point based on all the experience I've had with countless HDMI cables, the function of the cable is down to production quality. So you either get lucky with one that actually works, or you get one that doesn't, whence the confusing reviews why some people are overly happy with the cable they purchased. This can be down to many things, from the copper cores to the soldering of cores to pins in the plug to the plug itself. And then of course there is the issue of what devices it connects between too, some devices are more forgiving and some far less forgiving. HDMI switches for example require perfect cables in general as they do not amplify the digital data signal strength as such, so they expect a very good cable coming in and going out. But a device being connected directly to a screen in general should work fine with a cable that is borderline HDMI-2.1 acceptable, however LG and Sony OLEDs are very picky screens and expect quality cabling of zero production flaws. The higher the bandwidth (ie 4k 120hz 10/12bit or 8K 60hz HDR), the more important the quality of the cable, lesser resolutions will usually work flawlessly, so do keep this in mind if buying a cable thinking it is future-proof, not necessarily, test it at the intended resolution before you keep it, once out of the return window, you could end up with a paperweight of sorts. Remember, the cable is being asked to transmit upto 48gbps! That is a lot of bits, the common issue with many of these mass produced cables appears to be poor workmanship inside the plug ends and poor cable cores quality which add extreme jitter, all in all weakening the signal by way of increasing electrical resistance, from the pins to the soldering of pins to cores to the core material quality itself and same again on the other end of the cable. Silver coated long-grain OFC would be the way to go, but then we're talking a hefty price increase. I personally feel the industry should move to having optical ports for video data on the TVs themselves, so that cables need no soldering or copper wires anymore for data signals, but that would mean moving away from the HDMI standard, which is probably going to add considerable cost to screens thus I cannot see that being a direction the industry would consider this decade.

I wanted a contemporary version HDMI cable, this fits the bill and was affordable. It arrived very promptly too.

in the past i was betrayed by HDMI cables that flicker and come loose but THIS is something else... its extra durable and stable so i never have to worry about the cable falling off or fraying since it's built super well!

No problems here, love the versatility in cable length great quality defo value for money.

It was good

I use this cable mostly to hook my computer up to my 4K tv. It works immaculately. I haven't had it longe enough to assess its durability (although I expect it to last for years). Very happy with the purchase.

It works well on my apple tv 4K and samsung oled tv with no issues picture and sound quality is good just right for the price.
