Daron Skymarks United 747-400 Post Co Merge Model Kit with Gear (1/200 Scale), White

This die cast model of the Delta L-1011 brings back memories if my return to the USA from then West Germany on November 9, 1989.

As a collector of smaller scale aircraft, this particular Die cast Delta L-1011, 1:500 scale model was a good purchase and sold at a good price. Model has accurate detail compared with its “pricey” competitors on the market.

First of all, I’ll admit to being a big Pan Am enthusiast. Flew the airline several times. Upon opening the package containing this diecast, the first impression is of its satisfying heft, concurrently with how lovely the Pan Am livery was/is. The quality of the diecast is more than acceptable, but not perfect. There’re some very minor, but still observable, imperfections in the finish, and the base doesn’t seem to click satisfyingly and securely to the aircraft, but it’s pretty good. The DC-10 had a “checkered” safety record, to the extent that a family friend refused to fly on it. But, I purchased the model for the Pan Am connection, and am pleased to own it. The package was delivered on schedule and received in good condition. Thank you.

I’ve always admired the Lockheed Constellation. To me it’s one of the most beautiful big aircraft ever made. These “Postage Stamp” models are very detailed and true to scale. They give an aircraft model collector a practical way to get some of their favorites and not take up a lot of space.

This was just what I was waiting for. I received it in two days because of my trail membership with Prime. This model is like most of Daron Skymarks products. Realistic and very detailed. It's a beautiful model and don't worry it snaps together very easily. I recommend this and most Daron Skymarks products that are at least 1/200 because the smaller ones aren't as nice as the larger ones. It's well worth the money if you're serious about this replica of the 747.

Very poorly made, came with prop broken off, one missing.

Very durable. The landing gear is very detailed and really strong. It’s heavy. Has all the logos and all the small little details. Worth the price compared to other brands.
