My First Book of Memory Verses (My First Books)

Cute but so flimsy

I really like the concept of this book, and was impressed by the endorsement from C.J. Mahaney, but I'm still looking for the perfect book that has simplified versions of key bible verses that can be learned by a three year old. Many of these are far too long, and require too much explanation for a child who is memorizing his or her first Bible verses. When our sons are a little older this will be a good reference for them but we have to find something else for their actual "first" book of memory verses.

Great compilation of scripture. We memorize a verse a week together as a family. This is a great tool 👍🏻

I love it because it makes it easy for my four year old to learn Bible verses. It is not complicated for her.

This was purchased for all the little ones in my Sunday School Class - they loved it!

Bought this book and another of the same series, hoping they would be helpful and useful for 4 6 year olds.Most of the verses are reasonable in length for this age group but some are somewhat " wordy"BUT what i found really off putting was that there is a TYPO error on p.42, this obviously escaped the eagle eye of the "checker" and this is not what one would expect to find in a book written to encourage correct memorisation!!Considering this book was first published in 2002, and reprinted in 2009,2011,2013 & 2017, this error persists! Has no-one spotted this before and reported it??!!!
