Update: purchased a second set which didn’t last more than a year. I will be moving on from this item and try and did something more sturdier. They fail where the handle meets the metal. The handle just simply wears out I purchased 2 of these about 4 years ago. The first one I misplaced after 3 years the second one broke and it was my fault. But after 4 years I can’t complain. Thing to note this product is plastic. That means if you want to throw your nozzle around then this is not for you. Some people do it without thinking but you can’t blame the product because you knew you were buying plastic. My last one broke after 4 years because I had something else in my hand and I dropped it by mistake and it broke to the point I can’t cut it off. Secondly the first thing you should do is buy commercial gasket for the bottom of the nozzle. No nozzle you buy that is cheap will have the nice thick gasket so it doesn’t leak where the hose meets the nozzle. They cost a few cents so invest in a few. Not once did my nozzles leak the whole time I had them (which was a lot with 4 cars being washed every Saturday). I will purchase 2 more to replace the ones I had hopefully the quality is the same and I will have these for another 4 years. *Update: the replacements I purchased for some reason did not last as long as my originals. I had one go bad at the on/off point. Had them for almost 2 years and the one that went bad is the one I have in the back yard which doesn’t get used as much. I am taking one star away for that purpose. Other than that these are great for a $9 price tag.

Great price for a great sprinkler. Many options for sprinkler. It is small and light and I love it for watering flowers on back patio.

The various spray patterns use less water than other types I have tried. This is important when using a small pump, it allows me to continuously spray without stopping to wait for the pressure to rebuild. I primarily use the center spray to rinse the boat off and sometimes the flat. Full spray to fill the water tank. I have tried 5 different nozzles and this one is by far the best for this use.

You get what you pay for in this case from my experience. The sprayer works great with the multiple spray options. The handle and spray area was what I was looking for so if it wasn't for the major issue that I had I experienced I would have probably rated it higher. In my case after a few weeks of using it, I noticed that water started to leak out from the sides of the top part of the nozzle sprayer head where you turn it to select the multiple spray heads you want to use. This rendered the spray nozzle useless regardless of selecting a different type of spray. So I had nothing to loose except to try to open the nozzle to find out what was going on. There is a screw in the center of the spray head that if you remove it you will see a rubber washer in the center of the nozzle and in my case it came loose - probably from the multiple use of the spray head selection or maybe dropping the spray head on the ground too many times? Simple fix was to put it back in the center enclave and screw the head back on and I was back with a working nozzle. Unfortunately, this same problem started to repeat itself more often. I don't know if it was because of the multiple drops to the ground, but I did notice that if that did occur, I would have to repeat the above steps. So much for heavy duty spray nozzle. I don't know too many people who gently place their nozzle on the ground every time and its not like I am slamming it to the ground either. Just your simple run of the mill daily use. On top of that I had the nozzle spray head jam up from turning it quite often which was the result of the rubber washer coming loose. I don't know if I had a defective nozzle or wasn't gentle with the sprayer nozzle and this was the result. Bottom line is that the rubber washer was the center of my problem so to speak and eventually it got warped from jamming up where it no longer stayed in place. Needless to say, I purchased another "Heavy Duty" nozzle sprayer without changing my watering habits and haven't experienced the same issues that I had with this sprayer. I guess your mileage will vary with this product.

I've been through enough hose nozzles to know that most of them are either too flimsy or have a connection that drips no matter what you do. The VIKING 8-pattern falls somewhere in between: solid enough to feel confident in your hand, but the included rubber washer did not seal properly out of the box. Water was dripping steadily at the hose connection from the first use. A wrap of Teflon tape on the hose threads fixed it completely, and it has been leak-free since. Once that's sorted, the nozzle itself performs well. The rubberized grip is comfortable and doesn't become slippery when your hands are wet. Of the eight spray patterns, I find myself using three or four consistently: the jet is strong enough to blast off caked dirt from patio furniture or a muddy bumper, the shower setting is gentle enough for seedlings and hanging baskets, and the mist is handy on a hot afternoon. The remaining patterns are available if you need them, but they're not the reason to buy this. The hand-control trigger locks in place, which saves hand fatigue during longer watering sessions. Build quality feels solid overall with its metal body and rubber grip, which matches what the listing describes. I can speak to summer performance with confidence: it handles everything from car washing to garden watering without complaint. How the seals and the rotating pattern selector hold up through a full winter freeze-thaw cycle remains to be seen. If longevity over multiple seasons turns out to be an issue, I'll update this review. Bottom line: at this price point it punches above its weight, but buy a roll of Teflon tape at the same time and save yourself the frustration.

One of the best I have ever purchased! My neighbour and I both ordered these and we both love them. Easy to use, no leakage, thumb control is a great innovation, may spray adjustments possible. I've been buying garden hose nozzles since back in 1966. This is the best one I've ever purchased.

recivido: 12:45 p.m. de 21/05/2019, perfectas condiciones, para el jardin, para quienes nunca han usado una pistola de agua, es normar que, incluso con el poco uso empieze a gotear, la presion del agua en los empaques, de manera permanente, y giros, los suavisa, (no estan cerrados al vacio), si vas a mantener abierto, el flujo de agua las 24 horas, el empaque se cristalizara por las sales del agua, ocacionando el efecto, con el tiempo de uso, sucedera de igual forma ( tratar de vaciar la manguera y mantener la pistola a la sombra ), gracias por pronto envio. actl. 14/06/2019 excelente.

Lo único que se me complicó fue la instalación ya que no viene la especificación técnica de la cuerda, y el cople que necesitaba, en México se tiene otro estándar común de ancho de cuerda, lo que implicó usar cinta de teflón para evitar fugas, salvo por eso sirve muy bien
