it works, kinda finicky, but its not hard to use. just have to be careful not to turn the mower off when I switch the lights on

I thought my problem was a defective brake switch and ordered along with this new key switch. The brake switch still hasn’t showed up but thought I would get the switch installed. Turns out the problem wasn’t my brake switch and my old key switch was to blame. Old one took some time to get out of the dash but new one installed in seconds. I love the key with built in water and dust shield. Works perfectly definitely recommend someone purchasing this item.

Item appears to be OK. But internal and external boxes were opened and damaged. Poor handling of shipment.

It did replace the Old switch but, don't lose the key. The Key is not a John Deere key and they couldn't replace it if need be. It does work okay. By the way, you do get 2 keys.

It is just like the old one that I took out. Fit perfect. It was not an easy install but I figure John Deere has the special tool that would make it a easy install which I did not have but I got it done.
