With that said, there are some pros and cons-- Pros: 1). Very compact & lightweight, so easy to carry in a handbag or pocket (they sort of roll up in a compact ball); 2) very warm; 3) they are designed with some sort of mechanism along the bag that you can pull to adjust for your individual fit; 4) they keep me warm without smashing down my hair (I wear a short, tousled pixie cut, so hats don't work well for me as they compress my hair, not to mention I appear bald because hats cover all of my hair); 5) PRIME item, so they arrived in 2 days (I was pretty desperate as I could not find any type of ear -muff style headgear in my rural area). Cons: 1) a bit pricey for the quality of the product; 2) I have extremely short hair (think Miley Cyrus short...so basically almost to my scalp in the back of my head)...however, if you have any quantity of hair, I imagine these would tend to be a tight fit around your head, (another reviewer mentioned these kept slipping off due to her hair)---all this is taking in to account that you can adjust the piece in the back, as mentioned earlier (and, I don't have a particularly large head); 3) I find them a bit tight when wearing and they do muffle sound a bit (which could be a good thing, depending on your environment); 4) the fake fur is a bit poor quality, so I am concerned about how long these will look good enough to wear. Let me just say, due to our current winter weather conditions, I am very happy to have these ear warmers, but if you have a large volume of hair or a larger head, you may want to consider looking further. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Warm!!! (But warning: they are small) *by T***E on Reviewed in the United States on February 10, 2019* These earmuffs made a business trip to South Dakota in January bearable (negative temps with ridiculous wind chills). I love that they are filled with down - it's like a winter coat on your ears. In fact, your ears will get downright hot if you go indoors and wear them for more than five minutes. They fold up nicely and fit in my coat pocket. However: I do have a small head and I wear my hair up - they fit me perfectly, so if you have a large head or wear your hair down they may be too small. They are adjustable, but not by much. It's true that sounds are a little muffled when you're wearing them, but I'm not sure how it would be possible for that not to happen - you're basically wearing a coat over your ears: of course it's going to block out some sound! Not enough to not be able to hear people though; I don't see it as anything to lose a star over. They don't fall off, and I LOVE them! Completely worth the money. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Extremely well designed *by R***Y on Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2020* Love this brand of ear muff, a former pair has lasted for years, while others have broke quickly. This pair is just the right amount of warmth and protects my ears in the cold Santa Fe wind (don't let anyone tell you it is warm here in the winters). I do have to remove them while driving as they really muffle the stereo sound in the car, I assume this is the down filling. Having grown up in the NW, I can assure you down is the answer to all cold issues, and there is no substitute!
