Leaves and branches
The description of this macrame was chevrons and tassels, which contradicted the image of leaves and branches. I wanted the image and not chevrons. I am so pleased it is leaves and branches that showed up. I've not tried to make it yet or opened it, but will update if stars need to be knocked off.

GREAT FOR BEGINNERS
THIS WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY 15 YR OLD GRANDDAUGHTER. SHE HAD NO PROBLEM PUTTING THE MACRAME TOGETHER - IT IS BEAUTIFUL. THIS WAS HER FIRST ENCOUNTER WITH THIS ART BUT I'M SURE IT WON'T BE HER LAST! THE PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED AS NOTIFIED AND ARRIVED IN GREAT SHAPE.

Easy with a couple tricky spots
All in all, a fun craft project with easy to follow instructions. Be mindful of your knot tension as you build it out. Mine ended up a bit asymmetrical due to not paying attention.

Do Not Buy
I liked that the cord was good cord. I had another kit that had cheap cord. I love the branch they gave instead of dowel. The instructions are not clear and it is not for beginners. The directions stop after a certain point. Even following directions in beginning, I was tearing my hair out. I have done macrame before and even when you look at the picture it don't make sense. You are on your own. I usually pin my work to a board. I had to I went by picture was trying to count knots and still it winded up uneven and not fit to put up. I spent days between figuring out what they were doing and all that time I was down to last branch and it was horrible. Do not buy

Instructions are garbage
the instructions are garbage and end after the first branch. I have no idea how I'm going to finish this.

Complete lack of direction
The kit comes with everything that you need to complete the project...except directions! It only includes the specific instructions for the first few rows, and then basically you're told to just wing it for the rest of the project. It makes the project much more complicated, and I'm not enjoying the process of making the project because it requires so much thought and guessing.
