Perfect for flying with your CCW firearm in your luggage - very happy
I recently flew with my handgun for the first time and a buddy told me just to use my Glock case. It worked fine, but I grew a little concerned the night before my flight left. I could not find a lock that worked great - ended up having to use a longer lock around the handle because there are no holes to thread the lock through on a standard Glock case. It was secure, but anyone could have popped the clips and opened the case enough to get the gun out - not reassuring. It all worked out fine, but I immediately looked for a better option when I got home.I did not want to spend a lot on a metal case, or a case that takes up too much room. This case is perfect and cured all of my concerns - and it is smaller than a standard Glock case. When the padlock is in place, the holes are situated so someone cannot slide the locks open, so there is no way to open the case even a little bit - someone would have to smash it or saw through the case. It seems well built and sturdy. For the price and what I got - I am extremely happy that I did not spend more on a "fancier" case - it would have been pointless. I am extremely happy with this purchase.

Great Little Case
Great little case. Love the foam in it. It will serve many purposes. Can lock kids phones in when I need to ground them. My son can take to camp with him to lock away his money and phone while at camp to keep it safe. The only down side is it was really hard to find a combination lock to fit it. I didn't want a key lock. So after 3 different styles of locks purchased, my husband actually had to modify the case with his Dremel tool. He drilled the holes out a little so the combination locks would fit. The case is good to keep small things out of easy grab. My small 380 fits perfect. My husband's ruger 1911 fits perfect. Over all it is a good purchase. The case is sturdy and seems to be made of good quality. I'm thinking about getting a couple of more for the price and to support an American made product.

Great for Secure Transport
Fits my needs perfectly. The weapon I bought came in a cardboard box, which does not lend itself to transporting the thing securely (as certain States require). Quality is excellent. Tabs lock securely and the material is rigid but lightweight. Spacious enough to carry my pistol and a mag or two. The design of the foam holds the contents securely, so I don't have to worry about the pistol sliding and banging against the bottom when I pick the case up. Holes in the locking tabs are 7 mm in diameter and 17 mm deep at the cut out parts, so take that into consideration when buying a lock for it if you wish to forego the cable lock (should be minimum of about 4 cm long on one side of the shackle to allow you room to close it). For example, a Master Lock 1534D won't fit because the shackle is too thick. This pistol case does the trick and at an appealing price. Great value!

Very good with a couple of caveats
I bought three of these to secure handguns which either came without a lockable case (Ruger SR22: cardboard box and zip bag), or in a case that was far too big for my gun safe (Smith & Wesson M&P9, Springfield XDm .40).In each instance the new case holds the handgun plus magazine and up to three extra magazines, which is good enough for my purposes. The padding is not thick enough to hold the magazines without movement inside the case, but I can add extra foam padding if this becomes an issue.I was surprised that the padlock holes were not wide enough to take a standard 1/4" shackle padlock. I tried various Master, Brinks and Fortress locks, but none would fit without some resizing. Not a big problem for someone with a drill press (fortunately I have one), and there's still plenty of plastic around the shackle, but it would be a nuisance to have to do with a hand-held drill. Half an hour spent resizing the holes with a 5/16th" bit and my problem was solved. So with the caveats that the holes may need widening if you plan to use a padlock, and more padding may be needed to prevent the gun and magazines slipping about inside, these cases are good for added gun security either at home or on the move.

Great Case, Consider How You Will Lock It
Reasonable price and the case is as advertised. Sturdy and functional. Nothing cheap about it. Even the foam padding is double-layered which I like. Professional case for serious business - guns. Both fasteners to either side can be secured via a single cable lock (optional) or via two separate locks. Dimensions are published for the holes, so adhere to them so you don't buy locks that do not fit. If you buy locks with a shackle, they need to be a bit over 1" (I believe it was) to clear the frame of the case or (less likely) the lock's body needs to be narrow enough to jimmy into the case's space which is only like 1/4" inch, if that. I bought the case, then the locks afterwards.

Great Product for the Price
I left home in a hurry traveling out of state. I forgot my lock box. Just needed to get through a couple of weeks. This fit bill to a tee for the price and came with the lock.Overall its a great box for the home or traveling back and forth to the range, as for sturdiness, I'm comparing it to a hundred dollar box so indirectly for the above use I highly recommend it but for auto storage if a thief had the time, or tools, I think they could defeat it.

Great box! The latches keep everything secure unlike most other similar cases where you can still slide the gun out even when locked up. My only complaint is the size. I wish it was slightly bigger height width and depth wise so I could fit my extra magazines in there and also not have to fight the latches sometimes. Other than that it's a great little box.
