Streamlight 75712 Stinger 425-Lumen LED Bright Rechargeable Handheld Flashlight with 12V DC Charger, Black

Awesome light. The Streamlight flashlight is perfect for my needs. It is rechargeable and very bright. This was bought on sale making this the best light for the money. The light is well made and very durable. The light comes with a silicone bezel to stop it from rolling off surfaces and to protect the light itself. It uses one button to turn it on and off. If you prees the buttom It momentarily the light will go on for as long as you depress/hold the button. The light came with a charger which is extremely east to use. The light has a grip on the barrel for holding with wet or slippery hands.

If you are looking for a sturdy tough and rugged flashlight. Then this is the flashlight for you. I work on buses and semi-trucks. This flashlight is a great investment. It holds a charge for days. It is really bright. I especially like the rubber ring that stops it from rolling off things or away from you. The charger dock is awesome. I have it mounted to my toolbox, so it is always ready to go. It fits nicely in the hand. The flashlight has groves in the handle so it is not going to slip if your hands are grease or oily.This came with a flashlight, battery, charger, cord, and rubber ring. Also came with hardware to mount the charger. You can't go wrong with this flashlight. To say it is strong is one thing, but I ran this flashlight over with a car and nothing happened to it. So I can tell you this is a great flashlight.

I needed a new flashlight for work and wanted to move away from my full size streamlight rechargeable. I owned a stinger 8 or so years ago but it had the xenon bulb and when the battery went bad I never replaced it. So this time I wanted to go with LED as the bulbs basically last forever and the xenon bulbs are expensive. All that said I wanted a good price and selection so I went to amazon. Unfortunately things got confusing from there. Amazon had so many stinger products with model numbers that had no corresponding reference on the Streamlight website so for my review instead of focusing on the light, lumens, body comp, etc, which had been covered before, I wanted to try to clear up the product numbers to make buying easier if you have already decided to buy a Stinger. (I spent hours trying to figure out what the model number meant because the pictures were basically worthless when deciding between certain models as well as included accessories)Basically what I determined is that the beginning three numbers tell what kind of light it is. 757 is the Stinger LED as shown on the Streamlight website. 758 is the Stinger DS LED and 75? anything else is the standard Stinger xenon bulb.The only anomaly is the DS HP, which follows no rhyme or reason but is easily distinguishable because of it's large lamp portion.So the difference?The Stinger LED has one on/off switch on the handle and an rubber anti-roll ring that can be placed on the flashlightThe Stinger LED DS had two fully functional on/off switches one on the body and one on the end. The light output is basically the same on both from what I can tell as are all other features.The Stinger LED HP had that large bulging portion that according to Steamlight gives it a long range targeting beam. Has only one on/off switchThe classic stinger has the xenon bulb.All Stingers that I know of will charge with the battery in the flashlight in the charger. Other accessories are available of with the one that caused me the most confusion being the "Piggyback" holder. It is basically an additional holder for a battery only that attaches to a regular charger. Don't be fooled by the "fast charger" thing. As far as I can tell all Stinger chargers will charge in "fast" mode as well as "regular" mode (even the piggyback)Now for accessories. I don't have any knowledge of how many batteries or charger cradles (other then the one I bought) are included with each model because it does not say on the web pages as far as I can tell. I think that in the end you should assume you get one battery and one charging cradle with two cords AC and DC then if you get more it is a bonus.Hope this review helps.

This is a high quality light made by streamlight . I carried the older model of this light as a police officer, because when a police officer needs a light, it HAS to work. This one is LED so battery life is much longer than the older xenon bulb models. I bought this light so I had another one in my vehicle.

I purchased this light to use at work. We run 12 hour shifts and use our lights extensively in the maintenance department. My company has standardized on the Streamlight Stinger. We have a large installed base of chargers, so I did not buy a new charger and this flashlight works well with the old charger for the Poly-stingers. Most of the older Stingers are the Poly-Stinger with the halogen bulb. Sometimes they would not last the whole shift and the bulbs get pretty hot when using a lot. The old Poly-Stinger seems to be pretty bright until you turn on one of these new LED Stingers nearby. This light puts out an amazing pure white, bright light that throws a long distance. It runs much cooler than the old halogen lamp units and lasts much longer between charges. It is worth the relatively steep price tag since it makes our job easier and more productive.

I have owned this model for about 8 years. I'm a boat mechanic. I need a good flashlight almost all the time. The Stinger is my favorite tool!!!!This is an additional one. The batteries last a very long time!! Extremely waterproof. I once dropped it in a deep bilge full of water while in the ON position. It eventually died before I could retrieve it. It never worked again. I sent it back to the company and they fixed it FOR FREE!!!! This is a quality product!!!! Sure, they aren't cheap, but they are well worth the money!!!!!2016 update: I STILL love my Stinger! I bought another just because I can't live without it. I used it recently on my boat to light the way into the dock in the dark. It lights up the dock from at least a quarter mile away! It has incredible range! I absolutely love those flashlights. I got a dc car charger with my new one and it's always charged. VERY EASILY WORTH THE $!
