I’m really not sure why everyone is complaining about the cup size. I think it’s absolutely perfect and 9 to 10 minutes, You have a beautiful over easy poached egg. In 12 to 13 minutes you have a gorgeous Jami egg. 15 minutes is a perfect hard boiled egg. I got the 4 cups I wish they had 8 cups. Could the cups be just a tiny bit wider they could, but if they were much wider than, I probably wouldn’t have liked it. They eggs pop out with no sticking and I hope it’s the same way in 4-6 months. If you want to make sure you have a beautiful runny egg with a minute or two to spare. This is the perfect poacher for you. I absolutely recommend it’s super easy to clean and if they ever come out with an 8 cup, I would definitely buy that as well.

This poacher has made brunch so much easier. Poached eggs come out perfect. Cups are easy to lift out with tongs and the poacher cleans well and is easy to store. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

After buying various plastic egg poachers, I found this one. It fits in a saucepan that is at least 6" wide. Added 1/2" (8 oz) water, covered, brought to a boil, inserted holder and eggs, turned down to simmer, and in 5 minutes had2 eggs done perfectly! I am one very happy customer. Have no way to send photo - sorry.

Works great - followed directions and put a little oil (avocado oil) on the cups before adding the egg, and will use plastic or rubber spatula to remove cooked egg when necessary - but so far just turning the cup upside-down, and the cooked egg just falls out.
