This filter, which is a replacement for the WSP50 Whole House Water Filter screen insert is the exact one they use in the whole house filter as it comes from the factory. I needed to purchase a second filter because the sediment from my well is so heavy that I found I could go longer between servicing by replacing and cleaning the filter. So one is always working in the filter housing and one is always clean and ready for use. When I ran into a question, I called the iSpring phone number included on the amazon page and was delighted to speak immediately with a human being! Works fine
This filter works fine and flushes clean every month when I manually run water through the filter. It’s lasted over a year with no issues. Would purchase again.

Work great. My water supply is my well. This stops the big stuff. I change and wash the filter weekly due to my well is old. It lasts about 3 years.

Worked right away!
We have a well system and there's a lot of clay in th eground around us. I previously had justa. single whole house filter, which I would have to change weekly. This has made a world of difference, filtering out most of the gross clay befor ethe main filter. Even when it gets full, its super easy to empty out. Great product and brand. I will be upgrading to their whole house system next.

I swap these!
Ok so purchased the Ispring sediment filter which contains this item. My water quality is not great & this seems to work a bit too well. In less than a month the filter get a lot buildup despite me flushing it every few days or so. I’d rather it get caught in the filter screen the in my household appliances. I bought an extra screen so I can just swap it out while I clean the clogged one. Rinse and repeat & makes things easier!
