Alex Flex Spackle
If you’re on the fence to buy this, just do it. Outstanding results thus far fixing those pesky drywall cracks in my older home. Applies and sands easy. Quick dry time. Keep in mind this does not fix any structural issues.

Works well
Used on an area with a reoccurring crack that I had previously fixed with regular spackle

Does What It Says
This stuff really does what it says. It's hard to find, and not normally stocked in hardware stores or big box stores. It has the elasticity it promises, and is easily sandable and paintable, very important characteristics!

Can't find in stores
I use this spackling often since first trying it. Easy to use, smooth and doesn't leave micro holes in the finish like many others do. It's thickness is similar to drydex but a bit creamier. Sticks just as well and dries fairly quickly. I mainly use it for settling cracks but have also used it for general purposes.

Hard to sand
Hard and probably won’t allow new cracks to form but VERY difficult to sand. Also, the finished texture, even after sanding, is still too coarse to prime. So, I had to top with another coat of mud.

Good Intentions
Don't be misled into thinking that this product will solve all of your cracks in drywall problems. The cracks returned less than three weeks after using it.Also, it dried up in the container REALLY fast.
