**Q: What is the edge angle? Western 20 or Japanese 15 degrees?**
A: It is a very steep, sharp 10 degree.  The sharpener is 15 degree. So it is recommended not to resharpen until after about a year of use.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE this knife!!

This has quickly become my favorite, go-to knife, even surpassing my 20+ year old Old Hickory. The edge is keen and sharp and stays that way, almost endlessly. I rarely have to sharpen it and I want my knives razor-sharp when I use them. It arrived in a gorgeous gift box that I would be very satisfied to give or receive. On top of everything else, the seller was extraordinarily interested in my reaction. ~ What I don't understand is why Amazon doesn't show the regular price of this knife because I bought it in a window that's soon to close. It's on sale until Sept. 9 and yet the normal price is not displayed on the main page. This is an incredible deal and I've already told lots of my friends about it. People need to snap it up while it's available at this price!!
