How heavy do these glasses feel, at the base esp?

These glasses don't feel heavy, but the design makes the base very study and sturdy. My wife is the martini drinker and we keep these in the freezer and she loves them. They are not flimsy in any way but if you drop them like I have, they'll shatter. But we love the design. Hope this answers your question.

Commenters say less tgan 8 oz. Can i get a definite answer on this? 8 oz? Or less.

Ok. I got out my measuring cup and poured in 8 oz of water then poured the water into the doubled walled martini glass. About a tablespoon or so of water over flowed, so the glass holds just less then 8 oz. But who makes an 8 oz martini anyway? For a dirty martini, I use 3 oz of Vodka, 1/2 oz of dry vermouth, and 1 oz of olive juice and then put all into shaker with ice. After vigorous shaking I strain into the glass. The drink just barely fits into the glass because of the expansion that has occured from the shaking. Enjoy!

What is the diameter of the base of the glass?

4-1/4 @ the top 2-7/8 @ the base

What is the diameter of glass?

The glass is 4.4" at the widest point.
