This is rated as one of the top clocks amongst players. Can be a tiny bit of a learning curve setting it up with the options provided, but on the bottom of the clock are great notes to make it more efficient when choosing different time durations.

This clock is incredibly good. I’d recommend to any chess player. It has everything, easy to use, the functionality is amazing, display quality like no other, the size is great for everywhere, and is definitely worth the money.

I love this timer. It has all the familiar DGT features, but has a nicer faux wood grain exterior. It works flawlessly as a chess clock.

Works as expected. Time will tell - no pun intended - whether it was built to last. If so, a good value, even though it includes for some features I don't plan to use so a more basic unit would have been sufficient.

I was hoping that the woodgrain look to the clock would add a little class to my chess board. Unfortunately the plastic extruded exterior is kind of goofy looking. I was hoping for a more defined wood grain look, but the lines blur together. It's not enough of an issue that I would return it because it is cheaper in price than the plain color clocks. Otherwise the clock performs the way it is supposed to.

This clock connects to the DGT eboards but you can use it without the eBoard.. It is used in top FIDE sponsored tournaments and has all the necessary tournament chess features. The preset options are marked on the bottom of the clock so you don't even need the manual. The preset options include those most commonly used for tournaments plus the options 25 through 30 can be used for your own manually set options and saved. The preset options are likely to be adequate for many local tournaments; for example option 16 is the exact time limit we use at our local club.
