If you are looking for something that is easily configured and put together, this actually takes some brain power on your child's part (which is a good thing!) to be able to make a marble run. For younger children it maybe confusing because not all the pieces are necessary to make the marble run and a lot of them are for purely decoration. Altogether though its a great quality maze and will offer hours of entertainment. ### ⭐⭐ Not as advertised *by L***A on July 7, 2019* I recently purchased this for my 4 yr old grandson's birthday. The box says age 3+. He could not figure it out on his own. My husband and I spent a long time trying to get the setup to look like the box graphic. No such luck. Finally, we put together something simple and it worked, although the marbles would get stuck occasionally.
