I have had this product since Aug 2020. The video camera has exceptional quality. I was really pleased and surprised with how good the quality of the video was. I used the highest quality settings. I use the video to capture my young son in fun activities. Akaso EK7000 does a great job capturing action shots. We have used it on hikes, running a corn maze, and bicycle rides. The video quality is excellent. I haven’t owned a go pro or any other action cameras. All I can compare it to is my iPhone 8.The video quality on the Akaso EK 7000 has better video quality than my iPhone and it is easier for me to download the video to my computer. I save memory space on my iPhone and I get action shots easier by mounting the Akaso EK7000. I feel like I don’t have to sacrifice my iPhone for action videos.I was going to download a video to show people, but I realized that the video quality is compressed on Amazon reviews so you will not get the true image quality as the actual product. You can look at the other reviews for video quality samples. Just make a note, it is actually better quality when you have the actual product.The camera does take a little of settings that you need to get used to. Most of the small issues are user error. When I first purchased the camera the setting were set to sepia, so the brightness looked way off. I didn’t realize this until I switch the settings. When I switched the setting to color, it really improved the quality of the videos.There are sound quality issues when you have the water proof case on it. It is harder to hear what other people are saying. I think it’s difficult to get a good quality sound on a small camera like this. The sound is decent indoors and when the people are close. It’s much harder outdoors with a case on the video camera.Overall the Akaso EK7000 is definitely worth the money and is an excellent video camera for the price. The image quality is amazing. The camera is very portable and very easy to mount on. Akaso EK7000 gives you plenty of accessories to mount the camera in various ways. I can’t wait to use this camera in the water. Technology is so much more advanced since the over the shoulder VHS tape days. This will definitely capture your outdoor adventures. This camera is definitely worth the money and worth Buying for capturing precious moments.

The media could not be loaded. Great product and a great price. My son and I scuba dive together. He purchased a more expensive brand and I bought an AKASO 7000 PRO. It is easy to use, simple to learn and takes beautiful photos and videos. If I were to ask for one improvement it would be that they have a color filter kit or light kit for scuba diving which would improve the color accuracy. Otherwise I am extremely pleased with the purchase. And in all fairness, I am not aware of any other cameras which color correct for images taken at depth. The fact that you can change from video to Photograph with the push of a button is awesome when one is diving. The memory is great as is the sound quality. Above water the color accuracy is perfect. And one off the greatest features is the small compact size. It takes up no space at all in my suitcase, and is small enough to easily attach to my BC for easy access during the dive. Superb capturing of those breathtaking dive experiences. Thanks for a great product.

The media could not be loaded. I purchased the AK7000 Pro for our trip to New Zealand. It is fairly easy to use. We watched several YouTube videos that really helped. There are a lot of connectors. We were most interested in the chest harness and floatable stick. We also chose a light. It seems bright enough, but the frame to hold the light and attach it to the stick is not straight. So, I'll need to adjust the way I hold the stick to keep it level. A few other comments: the open-style case is not secure. If I push the camera straight in the top latch doesn't engage. If I get the latch to engage the camera is seated at an angle. Either position could allow the camera to pop out. That's disappointing as it's the only way to change the zoom easily and record the sound. I used the underwater case most of the time for security, but no sound and it's a pain to zoom. Also, it would be nice for the buttons on the side to adjust zoom. The included video is our gondola ride. I like the quality. So, good camera, mediocre accessories.

I am a bicycle tourist and blogger, so I wanted to up my blog by adding some video. I picked this product as a good place to start with that. and I am quite pleased with the initial results. With the camera You get a variety of mounts for all kinds of uses. One of the mounts I especially wanted was missing from the package, and I contacted the seller to replace it. They responded instantly, and the replacement part is already on the way. Learning to manipulate the tiny camera takes some time, as there are many useful settings. The photo and video quality is quite amazing for this price level. I had a little problem getting the bike mount to tighten enough to hold the camera in place on bumpy roads, but I solved the problem by using three small star washers to extend the reach of the thumb screws into the cap nut. I am just getting started with this, so I may add comments later as I learn more about the use of this surprisingly good camera.Comments added: I have used the camera several times and the quality of the photos and videos is impressive. I might like more image stabilization, but at this price level I am OK with it as it is. A lot of mounting devices are included. I use the camera on a bicycle, so with some bouncing on the roads and trails the camera needs to be very secure. I found the threaded part of the thumbscrews to bottom out in the cap nuts short of becoming tight. So I shortened the reach of the screws by using star washers and hex nuts to take up the slack by in effect shortening the threaded length. The camera now rides on rough roads without moving our of position.
