Worth it.
To start, I’m 5’10” and 165lbs. with a slender structure. The leash fits with a lot of extra space on my ankle and normal for my upper calf below the knee. I use it for both locations for paddleboarding. After being broken in, it’ll become softer and feel not as stiff.

Great leash at a great price. Would buy this one again!
Exactly what I wanted. I use it with a 12' Bote SUP. Great length. I think it says knee, but I use it on my ankle and below the knee. works fine in either location. I would buy this exact one again if I needed another. Repeated use in saltwater and ZERO rust on the pins/screws like the slightly cheaper Ch1na one my friend got on here.

"A leash for disgruntled long boarders"
Been surfing longboards since '64. Don't like Leashes and never found one that I didn't trip over all of the time. The State Park at Fort Pierce,Fl.(my home break) now requires them. I used this Calf leash and found it worked much better 90% of the time.So now I am not breaking their regulation and hope to adjust to this better design over time.

It just fit on the ankle.
I bought it as a calf leash, it's labeled as a calf leash although it's just large enough to be used as an ankle leash. 3 stars cuz the product have great quality.

Gute Leash für ruhiges Wasser
Es handelt sich hier um die Dakine Sup 10' X 3/16" Coil Calf Leash, d.h. 10 Fuß Länge mit 3/16 Zoll Durchmesser (knapp 5mm).Hat seinen Zweck im Urlaub auf Fuerteventura voll erfüllt. Die Leash gibt einem das sichere Gefühl, dass einem das Board nicht davon treibt, wenn man bei Touren auf etwas unruhiger See (siehe Foto) mal das Gleichgewicht verliert ;-) Sitzt bequem und macht einen robusten Eindruck. Material und Verarbeitung wirken aber nicht so wertig, wie ich es von Dakine erwartet hätte, daher nur 4 von 5 Sternen.Aber: Wer sein SUP in Wellen fahren möchte sollte zu einer dickeren Leash greifen! Vom Wellenreiten weiß ich welche Kräfte bei einem ordentlichen Waschgang auf die Leash wirken können. Mit dieser nur knapp 5mm dicken Leash hätte ich ein mulmiges Gefühl im Wasser.Für Touren auf Seen, Flüssen oder auch dem Meer aber vollkommen ausreichend.
