The quality is good. Working properly. Any changes in the motion-sensing area can trigger an alarm or notification and which depends on selected sensitivity. Compared to the competitors the pricing is high.

Simply wow! Alarm with voice and light is an extra add on besides sd card recording and amazon echo integration.

In the daylight hours the ezGaurd 1080p works great. It has a good quality picture. Works great with my home wireless system and in the 4 months I've use it, it has only had to be reset once when we lost power. It was easy to set up and install. EZVIZ has good quality products. The only thing I found a little disappointing was the quality of this camera's night vision. It works well for a small area but anything over 10 - 12 feet is dark and hard to see. I have to have my back lights on in order to get a good picture of what is moving. My back lights are not real bright but it's enough to enhance the quality of the picture the camera delivers. It does pick up movement over the whole back drive but unless it is a vehicle it's hard to tell what is moving unless the lights are on. I live in the country and have had problems with unwanted visitors so now I leave the lights on all night so I know who or what is setting off the camera.

Update 8/31/18: So I found the Windows app on their website that lets me view all my camera's live feed on one screen. It also send alerts as a popup when motion is detected and where it occurred which is great.Original Review: Idk why the negative reviews. I had this camera setup in 5 minutes or less. I already had an EZVIZ account and app installed so I added the camera to my account. Everything connected easily. I have wired EZVIZ cameras but this camera has more functions I wish the wired ones had. The ability to listen, speak and sound an alarm through this camera is great. The strobe light is great as well. I tested everything and it worked great. I wish there were different siren sounds to choose from. I also wish I could see a live feed through my existing wired setup monitor and not only through the phone app. Please make a Windows 10 EZVIZ app. Lastly I wish the power cord was 20ft minimum as it has to be plugged in and the cord is too short. You would need an extension cable. Overall this camera is worth buying. I am going to upgrade to a 128gb card for more storage.

The wired/adapter powered EZVIZ products are better at staying connected and working for sure, I started with their wi-fi remote cameras and they are mediocre at best, picture quality is good and cloud service is nice to have if subscribed, I have the 7-day plan - the EZVIZ cameras I have constantly buck offline and are unreliable when needed most - however they are cheaper than most camera brands - work consistently for about 65-70% of the time - the remainder 'offline' issue is a constant battle to keep connected or working at all - one camera eats batteries about every 2-3 weeks, even with low setting, and the batteries aren't the most economical. I probably would go with another brand if starting over because of reliability issues.

I am using the camera as a surveillance camera, so was pleased with the very good picture quality, day and night. Easy to set up, the app could use a little tweaking, I have to log in very often.The mounting is easy and versatile.I like the feature that allows the motion sensing to be set for the times you need them and also the feature of being able to delete the individual motion recorded on alarm setting.It arrived before the scheduled date, in very good condition.

This is my 4th ezviz product, I started with a static indoor camera (ezviz mini), then a couple of mini 360 cameras, and then a husky, which wasn’t good enough for me (FOV too narrow, no audio).So Then I found this one and used it to replace the husky, it does the same stuff, wifi, outdoor rating, plus it has a better field of view (although I wanted a bit more) and it has audio, so I can listen to what’s going on.Video quality is good and audio is fine.It has zone-control for movement activation, But I can’t get it to work. It records movement everywhere, not just the selected zone. This makes it useless to me because I installed it where I can see my yard and the street, so every car passing by triggers it.All in all looks like an upgrade to the husky, which has no advantages to this one I believe. But still has bugs to be resolved.The app is a bit buggy but it works 90% of the time and its essy to use. It could have improved features but it gets the work done.If you already have ezviz cameras its easy to just have them all in one app, that’s why I’m sticking with ezviz (have an arlo, but they are too expensive).For the price is a really well built camera and it will suit your needs unless you need the zones. With the included sd card you don’t need cloud backup unless power/wifi fails.The zones not working is a deal breaker for me, thats why I bought 2.
