While others use standard steel, we utilize German Marine Stainless explicitly treated to hold a razor edge against the corrosive salt air The "Heirloom" Factor The handle is beautifully crafted from sustainable Natural White Bone. A note about natural bone: its real beauty comes from the unique qualities of each piece. Every handle has slight color differences, natural stress lines, and the ability to weather and age gracefully. You can personalize it with traditional scrimshaw, protect it with carnauba wax, or let nature slowly change its patina. This is a serial-numbered collector's item built to last for generations Ready for the Deep Blue We know that a high-quality rigging knife is an investment. That is why we have upgraded this set to include a Heavy-Duty Leather Safety Lanyard alongside the integrated belt clip and Cordura sheath. Whether untying stubborn knots or cutting thick lines, the Gen 2 springless DoubleLock system guarantees secure performance ## Features - SUSTAINABLE WHITE BONE HANDLE: Crafted from carefully selected bovine material, this handle offers a warm, natural grip that synthetic G10 cannot match. It serves as a perfect blank canvas for traditional Scrimshaw personalization. - GERMAN MARINE STAINLESS STEEL: Engineered for the harsh salt environment. We use an alloy comparable to 440C for superior edge retention, enhanced with anti-oxidation elements to prevent corrosion. - GEN 2 DOUBLELOCK SAFETY: Features a robust, springless mechanism that independently locks the blade, the 3-inch marlin spike, or both simultaneously. This ensures safe, reliable one-handed deployment under difficult offshore conditions. - COMPLETE PRO SAILING KIT: This premium bundle includes a heavy-duty leather safety lanyard, a built-in pocket clip, and a durable Cordura sheath to ensure your tool stays secure whether you are aloft in a gale or working on the dock - A MARITIME HEIRLOOM: More than just a folding pocket multitool, each serial-numbered knife is designed to develop a unique patina over time. Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty, it makes an unforgettable retirement or Father's Day gift for sailors ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B074931MPD | | Age Range Description | Men, Sailors, Boaters, Yacht Owners, Collectors | | Best Sellers Rank | #363,536 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #97 in Divers' Knives & Shears | | Blade Edge | Serrated | | Blade Material | Stainless Steel | | Blade Shape | Clip Point | | Blade Type | Marlinspike | | Brand Name | Myerchin | | Color | White | | Customer Package Type | Standard Packaging | | Customer Reviews | 4.6 4.6 out of 5 stars (49) | | Hand Orientation | Ambidextrous | | Handle Material | White bone | | Included Components | Sheath | | Item Length | 11 inches | | Item Shape | Elongated | | Manufacturer | Myerchin | | Model Name | MYAF300P | | Model Number | AF300P | | Number of Items | 1 | | Part Number | AF300P | | Product Care Instructions | Hand Wash Only | | Recommended Uses For Product | Bushcrafting, camping, sailing, boating scrimshaw, Emergency, Fishing, Hiking, Hunting, Mountaineering, Rafting, Sailing, Fishing, Rope Splicing, Emergency Rescue, coast gaurd, navy, merchant marine, rock climbing, white water | | Reusability | Reusable | | Special Features | Locking Blades, Foldable, Bail, Shackle slot, Integrated marlinspike, Individual serial numbers | | Style | Nautical Gifts, Sailing Safety Gear, Scrimshaw Art Supplies | | Theme | Military | | UPC | 758763574756 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Men, Sailors, Boaters, Yacht Owners, Collectors - **Blade Material:** Stainless Steel - **Brand:** Myerchin - **Color:** White - **Handle Material:** White bone - **Included Components:** Sheath - **Model Name:** MYAF300P - **Special Feature:** Locking Blades, Foldable, Bail, Shackle slot, Integrated marlinspike, Individual serial numbers - **Style:** Nautical Gifts, Sailing Safety Gear, Scrimshaw Art Supplies ## Images ![Myerchin AF300P Captain Pro Bone Rigging Knife with Spike & Lanyard - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71yuWGWxvgL.jpg) ![Myerchin AF300P Captain Pro Bone Rigging Knife with Spike & Lanyard - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41Q5Tulc98L.jpg) ![Myerchin AF300P Captain Pro Bone Rigging Knife with Spike & Lanyard - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51mLD3KtETL.jpg) ![Myerchin AF300P Captain Pro Bone Rigging Knife with Spike & Lanyard - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/41bH93zz-QL.jpg) ![Myerchin AF300P Captain Pro Bone Rigging Knife with Spike & Lanyard - Image 5](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51kObizucvL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Item Package Quantity** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What is the largest size this comes in.** A: This is the Captain Pro - which is the larger of the two sizes. The blade length is 2.7" - the entire knife folded is 4.75". The Crew Knife has a 2.3" blade and measures 3.5" closed. Pleas also note that the "Pro" models are serrated on roughly 2/3 of the blade - the non-pro are not serrated. I have had many different rigging knives in my life and this one is hands down the best. **Q: Does this model have the easy open bump at the base of the blade?** A: not sure what you're referring to; but I am able to open mine one-handed by using my thumb in the shackle opening. Hope that helps. I'm very happy with the knife. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rigging Knife & Marlin Spike Myerchin AF300P Professional Captain Pro Engravable White Bone Handle - Myerchin Knives Tested at Sea WF300P Generation 2 Captain Professional Wood Handle Rigging Tool Knife --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/89245359-myerchin-af300p-captain-pro-bone-rigging-knife-with-spike-lanyard](https://www.desertcart.com.pa/products/89245359-myerchin-af300p-captain-pro-bone-rigging-knife-with-spike-lanyard) --- *Product available on Desertcart Panama* *Store origin: PA* *Last updated: 2026-10-05*
