There’s a few reasons for that. 1) If you’ve shopped for a square tablecloth, you know how hard they are to find. I have no idea why, as most tables these days seem to be square. The 70x70 size fit my 54”x54” table perfectly. 2) These tablecloths come in plain patterns and not flowers, checkers, and other prints that I don’t want. 3) Most importantly, no ironing required! Someone else had mentioned that in a comment and I didn’t believe it. But sure enough, I washed it, put it in the dryer, and then put it directly on the table. No wrinkles at all! This is huge for me because I have a toddler who is just now sitting at the table and can cause quite a mess - thus the tablecloth. I don’t have time to iron the number of tablecloths she will spell food on. I never imagined a tablecloth could make me so happy. As you can see, I used it as a topper for my 48 inch round table, which I used over a burgundy Gee Di Moda 108 inch round tablecloth. Both have a beautiful drape; flows gracefully on my table. I’m having a class reunion and these are my school colors. I generally use a 52x52 square, by I wanted a longer drape for the topper. I can’t wait to complete decorating this space.
