Great quality for the price.

I am new to this hobby and didn’t want to break the bank going to my local hobby store and spending $20 per brush so I can learn. I saw these as a suggestion in a negative review of another brand on amazon and took the suggestion. I am so glad that I did! Pros: the brushes are a very fine point for small details, but hold enough paint to make larger sections that require a little more surface coverage easy to paint. The bristles are shipped protected so they aren’t bent or malformed when they arrive. The ergonomic handle make it comfortable to hold. You get 4 in a pack. They are a great value for the newb. Cons: they appear to be 4 of the same size so they are replacements for when one gets worn out. Not exactly a con, but good to know. The brush protectors were not on the brush, but I’m the bottom of the pouch. They likely fell off in transit. Overall: I recommend these highly for anyone new to mini painting.

I'm currently doing a paint by number and needed some brushes that can paint very small areas with clean lines. The shape of the brush makes it easy to hold for long periods of time without my hand cramping. These brushes are great and the hairs are standing up to the test of time. There is one issue but it wouldn't stop me from buying again. On 2 of the brushes, the metal parts have fallen off of the wooden handles. A little superglue and all better!!

I like the feel and quality of the brushes for detail work, but they are not sized right. The 0 and the 1 are exactly the same size, as seen in the photo, and the size one is not standard, as can be seen in the photo compared to a “Grey Matters” oil brush (which I love). Also, the ferrules came off the handles on a couple of the brushes. I glued them back on. The only other issue is that the angle of the brush is not right when using the grip holder, but you could alter that by reattaching the ferrule correctly.

This review is for Artisan shoppe series IV pack of 3 small brushes. 3/0 These are SO good for the detail work I do. I paint small ACEO cards of different subjects. Landscapes, animals, flowers etc that require me to paint in small details. Acrylic, oil, watercolor. I paint in different mediums and have used the brush for each medium. An ACEO card is the size of a sports trading card. 2.5x3.5 inches. So that gives you an idea how small. I have used many detail brushes over the past couple of years since I started painting. And I have always been looking for a better detail brush. The perfect detail brush. It has been a mission and I've spent quite a bit of money. I've even tried to fashion my own detail brush by cutting bristles off another brush but that didn't quite work. SO these brushes are the best I've found so far for what I'm wanting. These work great for me. I'm even buying an extra pack just so I have extra and to last me a while. The tip of the brush is a fine tip and keeps its point when wet and loaded with paint. It paints smoothly gives enough flex to paint a straight line. I have not had one bristle fall out! The handle is very comfortable. I have never used a brush with this shape handle before but decided to try it and I'm glad I did. It helps to have a better grip. I also have arthritis in my fingers and so that extra width in the brush helps to me grip better. I have not tried every miniature detail brush out there so there maybe better ones out there I don't know. But like I've said I've tried many different ones and I think these are going to be my favorite detail brush for some time to come. I'm very happy with these. And guess what. This is a sincere, genuine review. I have not been paid or given a discount or anything for this review. It is not often that I write a review but when I do it's because I feel strongly about the product. And as an artist I know how frustrating it can be to find the right tool to help us create our artwork.

Love the ergonomic handles for my hands that have issues with grip and holding.

2 of the paintbrushes came went bent folded bristles caused from the plastic cover. Then 1 was bent at an angle. Making it awkward to use. I was able to trim away bristles on 1 of them buy not the other it was so bad. For the 1 I got that was OK it seems to work great. The ergonomic handle is absolutely amazing and makes painting easier and more enjoyable for my hand. Also I was expecting more of a fine tip these are feathered out so they aren't good for real fine lines.

I use these brushes for my paint by numbers paintings. They are excellent quality and are perfect for my needs.

These brushes made the difference from providing a very poor job to a great detailed job. The small brush heads enabled the application for the fine detail to the 35th scale models. I recommend this brand of brushes.

These are very durable brushes. I wish I could get them in smaller sizes but the size 0 is great.
