Is it noticeable where the edges line up if say I applied two pieces next to each other?

Not immediately after using the film. However over time you need to be careful regards dust accumulation along the join as it shows up clearly against the white film

No it is not transparent. Product is of good quality and adheres to surface perfectly. I would recommend this product.
