GREAT Printer!
I needed an inexpensive printer at home to print out the odd document if I can't get to the office. All I was considering was the price. But the HP Deskjet 3510 e-All-in-One FAR, FAR, FAR exceeded my expectations. It is wireless-capable, so connecting it to my wireless home network allows me to print without cables. Set-up using the CD included was a snap. I first attempted the internet connection set-up wizard but the file was so large that my DSL couldn't manage the size, thus, I ended that attempt and only used the CD, which worked flawlessly. This is a 2-print cartidge printer; one for black printing and the other for color which includes photo black for picture printing. The printer also is self-aligning with its cartridges making it fully automated from initial start-up. And it's fast, too. Prints 4 pages per minute color, 6 pages per minute black. I LOVE IT! And the best part is it's an HP with all of HP reliability behind it. And when you set up the e-print feature you can print remotely from any device by using the printer's own email address. PERFECT!! HIghly recommend!

Slow Scanning but Fine for Home Use
I've been using a Dell for several years, but was encouraged to try a HP printer by my computer repair person. Pricing was fine. I bought it mostly for scanning. The wireless connection between the printer and laptop seems overly touchy and needs frequent tweaking. Scanning is slower than I am used to and so my scanning projects take quite a while. I think the next all-in-one that I buy, I will pay a bit more and try to ascertain the scanning ease. As a home printer and a copier - very functional, no problems, and good print quality for my purposes.

May need "FRAGILE" handling on shipment BUT!!
It must be an excellent printer when it all works, however the one I received gave me an error right out of the box so not sure if it had a rough ride with UPS that disabled it or the "factory refurbished" process missed some elements.Anyhow, the seller offered to ship another and let me keep the defective one but I eventually optioned to get a refund instead.I originally wanted this printer due to a great review article labeling it great for a mobile (12volts?) setup in a car or van, RV, etc. for people on the move such as myself, however, it takes 30 volts DC through an adapter to run from regular 110 volts A.C. household power. Also the transport of the printing cartridges feels very delicate (compared to my 10 year old HP inkjet)Anyhow, since I was refunded and left with the broken printer I gave it the "ultimatum" treatment before disposing it, in other words I banged it around, dropped it a couple of times, turn it to the sides while forcing the ink cartridges transport back and forth, all this while turning it on and off and receiving error messages on the screen.Eventually, after forcing the cartridges transport all the way to the left side the error on screen disappeared and the normal menu came up, go figure. As it asked me to print a calibration page I did that and then that page was suppose to be read by the scanner for calibration. After setting the page on the scanner and pressing OK some noise told me that it was scanning but after a few moments the screen displayed something like the printer has been set to "generic"... so far so good.I placed a document on the scanner and selected "copy" from the menu then pressed OK. Again, the scanner made some noise and did the movement, but the printed page came totally black. Tried it again and same thing happened. The process consumed one third of the black ink.Attached the printer through USB to my windows 8.1 computer and inserted the disk provided with the printer in. It turned out saying that for windows 8 it needs to go online for installation driver and software. When that got enabled there was also a list of "recommended software" to be installed along.Anyhow, the driver installed and I was finally able to print out a jpg file from my computer. Also, the printer appeared in the wifi list of available links, however it required a code to connect that so far I wasn't able to setup.Hopefully I'll be able to bring to life all the functions, but it won't get on the road any time soon.

Great "casual" printer.
I had been looking for a basic printer for quite a while. I thought they had given up on this style of printer until I found it on here. For the price I couldn't pass it up an am very pleased with it. It's a great printer if you print mostly documents, though you can print pictures as well. Plus it has the added convenience of wireless printing. Setup is very simple and fast, the software walks you through everything. The scanner is also a plus, it comes in handy when you need to copy documents or scan pictures, ect. A great value if you are looking for a printer without all the bells and whistles. Excellent product and highly recommended.

Exactly what I needed.
First things first: printers, in general, suck.So many issues with home printers in the past had me convinced finding one that suits my needs would be impossible. This simple, yet effective printer has proved otherwise. It was extremely easy to connect wirelessly through my network, the HP ePrint app for my Android works flawlessly, and so far I have had no problems with the actual printing quality of this printer.I am a college student who needed a printer for my own personal use, as well as three roommates whom I share it with. After looking at other models, this printer was the deal. Relatively low purchase price, easy on ink (which is also cheaper to replace than other printers of this class), and painless set up.Would recommend this product to anyone who is printing essays, news articles, etc. (a.k.a. students)
