Fiskars Pro Folding Utility Knife, Dual-Lock, 4.5" Folded Size

Nothing is without flaw if you look hard enough. I have not had many issues with this knife so I'll clue you in on my experience, Pros: - Folding Function: The blade can swivel open with a flick of the wrist and it feels solid once it's locked. No rattle and no fear of it accidentally closing on you. Retracting is just as easy. - Blade Change: Tool-less blade replacement is super easy by a compound press and slide lock. I don't often use gloves so can't speak for the ease of use with them on. - Ergonomics: This is by far the most comfortable utility knife I have used comparing to various styles of those cheap two piece utility knifes. It fits in my hand perfectly and feels more controlled in my hand. I wear size L gloves btw. -Construction: This thing feels solid. It's got some weight to it and metal in all the right places. The orange part is a rubbery coating similar to those in a cordless drill handle and the plastic feels sturdy as well. Acceptable rattle from the blade I feel as well. Cons: - Clip: This thing has been super stiff and useless from the very beginning. It lays too flat to the body of the knife to be able to pry it out without hurting a fingernail and too pronounced from the body to make it noticeable. Not the biggest deal, I've just learned to live with it. Just put it in your pocket and try to ignore it. - Blade storage: There is no blade storage inside the knife but I never found that to be a huge deal because I rarely find myself needing to change a blade more than once a day. I just flip it and boom, fresh blade. Still, no blade storage if that's important to you. -Rust: I have seen others mention rust and yes, mine came with a bit of rust on the clip which is unfortunate. The clip is useless to me anyways and a good part of the knife is made of plastic and what I'm guessing to be aluminum on the actual blade housing. Some internals in the swivel mechanism may be corrosive so they might be rusty as well so just something too think about. Overall, the knife feels well made with a few flaws that don't hold it back enough to put it in the same tier with most knives out there. The one I have is the swivel lock version, so may be prone to malfunction since it has more moving parts although it has never failed on me. For the price of $12-$15, it's a good buy since you pay for the ease of mind when you use it.

Small, handy, and much sturdier than my previous knife that went to little pieces when I tried to get a piece of drywall out from a small space. No problems with this, it is well made and very nice to use.

Fiskars has never disappointed. To open the blade, simply depress the silver button on the slide, and pull the blade out. There are videos showing the person depressing the button and flipping outward and the blade comes out and snaps into place. For me it appears to be a very safe knife to use and carry. This is an excellent Ergonomics design to hold in your hand. The handle is a soft material. There is a very solid belt clip on the side and feels strong enough like it wouldn't easily slip off your belt. It is not designed to carry extra blades. At the end of the knife housing there is a 'hole' so if you wanted you could string a small amount of 550 cord through this and then attach a carabiner. I own other exacto knives from this manufacturer and other major brands and this is by far the best one. It works for me and I have no complaints. If I need another exacto knife I will definitely purchase this one again

I love the design of this extremely durable utility knife. I can't count how many times I've dropped it from heights and its still holding up great. The blades lock in place snug, and it's a great value. I have used the same blade for weeks without needing to replace it.

I wanted to upgrade my boxcutter so I bought this one after reading some great review on it. I'm pleased to announce that I'm very happy with the purchase. These are made of solid hefty metal and feel nice and weighty to hold, but heavy enough to cause fatigue. The flip mechanism works beautifully. You hold the button and swing it out a bit and the blade satisfyingly snaps into place loudly. The blade doesn't wobble or jiggle while you are cutting or even using your fingers to make it move. Replacing the blades is easy enough, you just press the button and it will slap shut if you swing your hand the right way. Replacing the blade is also very easy. The price is very reasonable too. My only criticism: it has no built in storage for extra blades. It's kind of a bummer, but oh well. It really doesn't make the cutter any less satisfying to use! But that's the only reason I'm docking one star.

Nice quality. Appears to be well made and durable. Easy blade replacement, that being said I wish they would have included a couple of extra blades, you only get one. Nice clip on it if you want to clip it to your belt or inside your pocket. Also you can flip it open with one hand and it locks into place well. Decent price.

I unbox and install appliances I use my knife all day every day. I've tried a ton of different utility knives and this one is my favorite so far. I showed it to my coworkers, they were surprised by the weight and comfort nobody wanted to give it back. It feels well made, over built, heavy and comfortable. It doesn't flick open and closed as easily as most but it feels better it's more satisfying. Not great in the pocket. The clip tab needed to be bent up and the rubber makes it hard to pull your knife out but at least it won't slip out.

Great tool prompt delivery . Use a utility knife probably 2 hours a day cutting up gyprock and other materials and hold up sting. Fiskars blades cut like butter and hold there life straight out of the pack
