I use this for fertility charting--I have been both TTA and TTC (and somewhere in between for a couple cycles) while using it. TTA worked fine; so far TTC has not yielded results, but I certainly don't blame that on the thermometer. I ordered this model partly because it has a backlight and often during the fall/winter months it's still dark out when I take my temperature. The memory is also very useful since on rare occasions I fall asleep again before recording my temperature. I have heard batteries don't last as long in thermometers with backlights but I have been using this for close to a year now and haven't had to replace the batteries so far. It does take over a full minute to register a temperature, usually. But that is pretty standard for digital basal thermometers. I don't mind; it just gives me an excuse to stay in bed a little longer. I also don't know how other reviewers are gauging its "accuracy." It probably doesn't register the exact temperature of your absolute core down to the smallest possible hundredth of a degree--since that's not even the goal with digital thermometers. (Some people might not realize this, but a reading on a digital thermometer is more like an estimation based on what the thermometer has registered so far and an algorithm. Which is why you don't want to switch thermometers mid-cycle, because each will have its own algorithm and tend to measure a little higher or lower.) But it certainly works for marking my post-ovulatory temperature shift and the temperature drop that happens before my period.

Overall, this is a decent product for measuring your basal body temperature, and it seems to be reliable and accurate from my experience. The backlight is a nice feature, and that is the main reason I chose this particular thermometer over the cheaper, more basic option without the backlight. However, the backlight doesn't stay lit for long enough to be able to track your temperature. It stays lit long enough to briefly read your BBT in the dark, but you'll have to press the power button again if you want to record your BBT somewhere else. The backlight only stays lit for about half a second, so it is not as helpful of a feature as I had hoped. It also takes almost two minutes to get a reading, which is a bit inconvenient considering you have to hold the thermometer under your tongue for the entire time that the device is registering your temperature. The device beeps twice when your reading has been captured, and the beeps are not too loud, which is nice if you're taking your temperature early in the morning while others are still sleeping.

perfect for charting, the thermometer we used for over 10 years finally died so we had to find a replacement. The one we tried before this was terrible, but this one is very accurate. It definitely is on the slow side, but we would rather it be accurate than instant for ovulation charting.

Works. But sort of confusing to use and the temp isn’t super fast or clear enough to know when it’s done taking your temp.

This thermometer is great for tracking your ovulation and cycle. Starting to take my basal body temp has helped me understand my cycle so much better and not only that, has helped me identify why I have such a hard time conceiving. After using this thermometer for several months I've found that I have a short leutal phase and now I can take that to my obgyn. That is something I would have never known if it weren't for this thermometer! The product itself is very easy to use and I love that it has a background light making it easy to see the results. What I don't like is that it takes soo long to tell you the temp, though I think that would be with any basal body thermometer as it needs to be precise. 10/10 recommend

Efter att ha tempat med Natural Cycles i drygt ett halvår, så sökte jag efter en termometer som mätte en längre stund, då jag upplevde att mina temperaturskillnader var så extrema. Efter att ha tempat en cykel med den här termometern så är jag mer än nöjd! Min tempkurva är jämn och fin! Den mäter ganska länge (vilket jag tror är det som gör den mer jämn än andra termometrar), den piper inte lika högt som andra termometrar, och den har bakgrundsbelysning vilket gör att du slipper tända lampan för att läsa av tempen. Du kan även lägga den åt sidan för att läsa av tempen senare, genom att bara starta den igen. Prisvärd!

I have used this bbt reader before, I need a new one. It's a brilliant little tool for tracking cycles and having confirmation of ovulation. It's backlit which is great when using first thing, it's a soft beep so doesn't disturb any others sleeping. Another great feature is the last temperature is saved when it's turned on again. So if you don't catch it when it firsts gives the reading, you can relook when it's more convenient

È il caso di quello che ho acquistato io, fornito di un comodo display che garantisce un’immediata lettura della temperatura. Inoltre è dotato di uno schermo retroilluminato ( Blu ) che garantisce sempre la massima visibilità anche al buio. Grazie alla funzione memoria si possono memorizzare le misurazioni ( 30 ) in modo da poter rivedere le varie temperature misurate oppure rivederle comododamente dal proprio smartphone inserendole manualmente ( Il dispositivo non dispone di connessione Bluetooth). L'uso è estremamente facile e ci mette veramente poco per la misurazione della febbre ( 90 secondi); inoltre sentiremo un doppio bip che ci indicherà di estrarlo una volta effettuata la misurazione. Anche all'accensione emette un segnale acustico. Inoltre tenendo premuto il pulsante di accensione per 30 secondi si può cambiare l'unità di misura da °C a °F. Faccio notare che è resistente all' acqua e la punta è flessibile per evitare di danneggiarlo. L'app per smartphone consente di inserire manualmente i valori, che poi genererà dei grafici sul nostro stato febbrile. Bisogna registrarsi prima di utilizzare l'App, con un nome utente e password. Lo consiglio vivamente perché di facile utilizzo, solo manca la connessione bluetooth, ma si può anche evitare.

Does not work. The thermometer does not turn on. Stay away from this product. Faulty. Im so annoyed. I waited ages for it to arrive and its not even working. Now I can't track my BBT and I need to for me health. Avoid this product at all costs.

Não encontrei opções no Brasil, que fossem seguras e tivessem o suporte por aplicativos. O termômetro é preciso, tem um tempo de medição adequado. Muito satisfeita com a compra.
