It was up to 8 seconds with the old adapters I had. At the time of writing, I have yet to repeat the test, but I can say everything has sped up noticeably. The one proper analysis I have found confirms speed is pretty much as claimed and that power draw is very low indeed. It's customer services is appalling. The switch kept knocking out various ports and so is not fit for purpose. It was very easy to set up and worked straight away with no complicated installation needed. I just plugged in the Ethernet cables and it did exactly what I needed, giving me extra wired connections without any hassle. The connection has been stable, and I have not noticed any issues with speed or signal quality. It is also small and lightweight, so it is easy to place on a desk or tuck away neatly. For the price, I think it is great value.
