Spellbook Cards: Cleric (Dungeons & Dragons)

I absolutely love these! They are a great tool to use when playing D&D. They're a good quality and durable. I like that they are very glossy so they're likely to survive a spill. Definitely worth it.

Love these cards! They make it so easy to pick your spells for the day and easily reference your spells without having to look in the PHB every time. And the DM can see they're official haha. Thick cards that feel solid, nice colors and images, and I like the size for not taking up too much space but also being easy to read.

Fantastic way for beginner clerics to track prepped spells and a great quick reference for all. Quality is nice but the edges could have a nicer finish. I am a bit worried the edges will fray over time and exposure to humidity but only time will tell. Great buy for me!

It's a great card set and already has been helpful to our campaign. The only card the set is missing is Cloud Kill a 5th level spell. Cloud Kill You create a 20-foot-radius Sphere of poisonous, yellow-green fog centered on a point you choose within range. The fog spreads around corners. It lasts for the Duration or until strong wind disperses the fog, ending the spell. Its area is heavily obscured. When a creature enters the spell's area for the first time on a turn or starts its turn there, that creature must make a Constitution saving throw. The creature takes 5d8 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Creatures are affected even if they hold their breath or don't need to breathe. The fog moves 10 feet away from you at the start of each of your turns, rolling along the surface of the ground. The vapors, being heavier than air, sink to the lowest level of the land, even pouring down openings. At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 5th.

Good quality, but not accurate to 2024 version.

my daughter loves these as they make playing her cleric much easier. instead of writing out the spell on her spell sheet like she used to, she now just grabs a card, slips it into a card-sleeve sheet, and away we go. the only minor issue is that some spells can't fit their full description on the card. make sure you read the full spell description int he PHB in addition to using the cards. most of them tell you everything you need, but, for example, Flaming Sphere leaves out the part about being able to hurl the sphere at an enemy as a bonus action - which is a very useful part of that particular spell. it would be nice if the cards that didn't hold every bit of info perhaps mentioned that fact. just adding "see PHB pg. xxx for more details" would have been nice. but other than that, these are perfect. they're attractive, easy to read, a good value, and simplify playing the game.

I was leading my first campaign for a party of completely new players from out of town and these cards were invaluable. Instead of having to try to read through their notes after transcribing their spells onto sheets, which would have been a pain since they were so new that I was creating all the characters based off their requests, I was able to hand out appropriate cards and let them choose what spells they thought would help. Despite having all the normal relevant information for each spell, the design made it easy to use .

Fun

Lots of high-gloss cards on nice paper. They do stick together a little when you initially get them in the mail but they can be gently removed from one another without much effort and with no damage to the cards. Pack even comes with a blank card so you can make your own spell or add in a special spell if your race comes with one!
