I have eczema which means can flair up anywhere along my feet to about as far up as my knees. I also have arthritis in my spine, making bending over very difficult. Consequently I cannot reach my feet to apply my anti eczema and I don't like always having to ask my long suffering wife. I bought this to solve the problem, and it did! The sponge isn't very absorbent but enough stays on to allow me to apply it where I need to. It's quite nicely made, with a pleasant to hold, wooden handle. I have previously bought a similar item, with a plastic handle. It was cheaper but broke the 2nd time I used it. This one is a little expensive but it does the job!

I have tried many of this type of lotion applicators with NO success. I am so pleased I found this item. It is excellent for my needs and I absolutely recommend it. I am unable to reach any part of my back, shoulder blades, or shoulders, therefore have not been able to apply body cream to these parts for many years. As I have very dry skin (especially after a shower) I had suffered the misery of itchy skin for what seemed like Forever until I tried this GranNaturals Lotion Applicator. I rub Coconut Oil into the smooth sponge, apply to my skin then repeat with Nivea body cream. Therefore don't have a problem with lotion or cream running off the sponge. The sponge does not absorb much of the oil or cream, spreads them well so no waste and allows me to rub them in. The sponge washes easily. The curved wooden handle helps me get to most of the middle of my back. I still have some difficulty and pain when doing this but I have difficulty and pain 24/7 anyway. This Lotion applicator helps me to manage to help myself. I must say I purchased this item expressly because I was looking for a gadget to apply body cream and not for washing myself in the shower. The smooth dense material of the ?sponge? allows me to somewhat rub in the oil and body cream. Now that I am able to moisturise my back etc I no longer suffer from dry itchy skin. What a relief!! I use a long handled brush (brand name Swissco) for legs, feet, back, and other hard to reach parts when bathing/showering as the head on this item is silky smooth and I prefer the feeling of a brush when exfoliating & cleaning my skin with water & shower gel. I am unable to apply any pressure so in my opinion this smooth sponge head is not suitable for me but might suit some others for this purpose. I appreciate the lightweight wooden handle. The whole item is lightweight so no strain on my arms or hands. I find this gadget a very useful addition to my collection of assistance tools and now have two.

This device works great with cream and other things like that. It puts the cream where I can’t reach. The snag is the handle. It is really hard and uncomfortable for anyone with arthritic hands. Needs a nice soft paddling to grip with.

it really works to apply body lotion on my back where I otherwise can't reach. And the white applicator part is very easy to wash and dry after use and it remains as good as new. It's very lightweight and seems a little flimsy but that doesn't cause a problem. It's the ideal length for me at 43cm.

I recently bought a plastic version of a lotion applicator and it broke in first use. So i sent it back and bought this one instead and so glad i did. This is very well made and complete, with no loose parts The head is easy to clean and the wooden handle is slightly curved making it easier to reach the areas of the back to apply the lotion. Good value and recommended

It wasn't as long as I had hoped for but it seems well made it was bought to try and assist someone just out of hospital and not allowed to bend. A good solution for this problem

Good for applying moisturizer to my back. Does what it says.

I love this wand it makes it a cake to moisturize my back, I use one side to spread the moisturizer all over and then I use the reverse side to rub it in well as I find the side you apply the moisturizer it tends to be a bit slippy and doesn’t absorb as well, but once turned over does a great job. Then if you want to add more just flip back to the other side perfect

This brush solves a problem for me! It can't solve all the problems of aging, but at least now I can reach my feet with the moisturising lotion. :)

Diese Eincreme-Hilfe leistet gute Hilfe wenn man mal alleine ist. Man muß dann niemanden extra bitten, das eine/r den Rücken eincremt od. eine med. Salbe aufträgt. Danach einfach wieder mit Wasser säubern und das Teil ist fertig für das nächste Mal. Ich bin begeistert. Tolle Sache . Sehr empfehlenswert.
